Brent Markee (brentleemarkee) | 1 comments Hello, Please change the author name on https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

I changed the information on Amazon a few days ago because it wouldn't let me add the book to my author page, but it seems this one is its own entity now. Here's the amazon.com link http://www.amazon.com/Vitiosi-Dei-Her...

Should be Brent Lee Markee

Thanks!

Morgan (morjampit) | 1 comments The book "What's the Use of Art?" should have two co-editors rather than just one. Would anyone be willing to add "Morgan Pitelka" (me!) as the second co-editor:

Thank you!

I got it online looking at the cover of the book I purchased, but here is a version from the editor's site (the ISBN checks):

Book: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Edith Elise Cowper was born in 1860 and died in 1933. Very little is known about her life, but as a writer she is best known for her adventure stories for girls. She also wrote a handful of girls' boarding school stories.

Please change sinopsis

Hákon Gunnarsson | 347 comments Could some one help me with adding a photographer to this book:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Paul Kaye took the photos and is credited on the cover for them. This is second in a series of three books that Enid Blyton and Paul Kaye did together, the first being The Laughing Kitten and the third being Let's Have a Party!, but I have to ask for creating series of it on another thread, right?

Thanks in advance. :-)

Bea Added Paul Kaye as photographer. Not sure about the series issue. I will let another librarian answer that.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

No ISBN on the book's page; my copy lists an ISBN of 9781514214138.

As I said, I own a copy (won it in a Goodreads giveaway), and the page count is 42 pages, not 72.

would it be possible to correct what is evidently a typo in the first publication date of "The Fellowship of the Ring"?

1945 instead of 1954:

"...Towers" and "...King" have the correct date:

message 599: by Heikki (new)

Heikki | 84 comments Hi,
Please modify the details of following edition of Les Misérables:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Description:
"Jean Valjean spent nineteen years in prison — five for stealing bread, fourteen for trying to escape. Valjean tries to make a new life for himself, but he cannot escape the stigma of his past, nor the oppressive watch of the cold-hearted Inspector Javert.
Fantine is a working class woman barely scraping together enough for herself and her young daughter Cosette. Both mother and daughter are exploited by the greedy innkeeper Thénardiers, who keeps demanding more and more money. Fantine’s health begins to deteriorate, and in her desperation she begins to consider prostitution.
These are but two of the unfortunate souls from Victor Hugo’s massive novel about rebellion, redemption, authority, romance, and justice. Les Misérables is a rich, complex, profound, and heart-breaking work of historical fiction, and one of the greatest novels of all time.
This includes all five volumes, as well as illustrations by Émile Bayard. Also, many of the more poetic passages are preserved in the original French, side-by-side with an English translation. (Can't do that on Kindle!"
