Why does Tom feel the need to have another women on the side?
why doesn't Nick tell Daisy about the day they went to New York to meet Toms other women?
why doesn't Daisy leave Tom knowing that he is having an affair?

Are these serious questions? Do you want people to actually reply with answers to these, or just ponder them privately? Or, are they 'debating questions' only for classrooms, youngsters, etc?

My frank responses would be:
1] Because he's a man, and that's what we do.
2] Because Nick is a good guy and wouldn't cock-block Tom (even if Tom is not his cuppa-tea).
3] She doesn't leave, because she 'knows-what-time-it-is'.

I am a bit curious as well as to why Chelsea thinks these questions to be important. My immediate response is that the original poster is somewhat naive. Chelsea, please tell me it ain´t so and that you have a particular interest in asking them.
