It was a heart-breaking novel. :) [bookcover:Where S..."
I'm 93% done with it! I can't wait to read the next one and good to know the 2nd book's better! :)

Enjoy Krizia! Erm, rather, don't cry too hard. hehe"
Based on the summary and the movie tie-in cover, I am getting BVs about this book. I know this will make me cry. I know this will make me sad. Sa "My Sister's Keeper" nga eh hagulgol to the max... Either daddy or the son will die. HAHA! or both but I doubt, feeling ko si son, diva pangmasPulitzer pagsi son ang madeads? hehe

super like! warm and light reading. :)

Covered 200+ pages for the unbecoming of mara dyer today , almost finished with the happiness project, half way done with fifty shades and started with the other 4 books :)

I feel like I need to throw something light and funny into the mix just balance things out a bit.

nakita ko nga madami na rin ata nakabasa nito dito sa TFG :)

Gail: Based on what I heard, "American Gods" is the more "mature" book of Gaiman. My American friend and I who are both in 40s, like this. She said that this is her favorite Gaiman. She could say that because she has read other Gaiman books like Neverwhere, The Graveyard Book, etc. I've only read American Gods but I am planning to read these two that are included in TFG 100.
My younger friends, who are maybe at the same age bracket with you, prefer those over American Gods.

I'd like to know what you think of it. I have a copy of that book given to me by Tina last Christmas.

Gail:..."
... That'll probably explain a lot. I decided to pick up a Gaiman novel because I loved the result of his and Pratchett's teamwork in Good Omens (a book I started last year but never finished because I lost my copy) so I decided to give him a shot. His other works intrigued me too but being a mythology kid, I went ahead and charged into American Gods.
I think I'll probably postpone this book for now since I don't really think that I'll appreciate it at the stage I'm in right now. Need more intellect.

I've been looking forward reading that book. recommended daw yan for those interested in Greek mythology. hmmm..
On topic: Currently reading discovery of witches. Now in page 50...interesting book.

characters are interesting, though.

For now, I think I'll start on either Beyonders: A World Without Heroes or An Abundance of Katherines.

Parang Breaking Dawn lang yan. Everybody geared up for the big war, but in the end, hindi natuloy ang giyera. Boo!
But I like Shadow. and Fat Nancy...?

American Gods, Anansi Boys at The Graveyard Book. Lahat ko naman na gustuhan. Gusto kong basahin yung Stardust at Coraline, since okay naman yung movie adaptation sakin. :)

@Tricia: Ay oo. Si Mr. Nancy ata spider god sa African Myth. Pero parang konti lang yung role niya sa American Gods. Nagustuhan ko din yung Anansi Boys, mas light-hearted at mas funny. :)

Anyway, An Abundance of Katherines: Go. Haha
