Started right away:
WIND, SAND AND STARS

Rabbit is rich by John Updike. I think it won the Pulitzer some years back, which is primarily what made me decide to read it. It's very insightful and real at the same time, though I can't relate to some of the author's references and frequently have to look things up on the net.
BKD! Big Kuya Doni! pwede din ABKD (A, ba, ka, da) Angus' Big Kuya Doni!wala lang, la pa rin akong matinong tulog eh. hahaha
Already on page 300something with The Onion Girl by Charles de Lint. Thinking of a February and March book before I head on to Jane Eyre for April.

"wow, thanks for the tip. it's actually my first encounter with Charles de Lint. imma gonna go hunting for that book too. =)

Hi! I suppose I might as well, though not right away. Have you read them?"Not yet. I plan to read them on December. A Rabbit month for me. My friend raves about Rabbit at Rest. He read that first, and he no longer intends to read the first three because a.) he already knows the end (an unsound reasoning, haha), and b.) he is not a big reader.

I can see why. Updike is hilarious and clever. I don't know though if I can read all four books consecutively (are there four? haha). He's a bit heavy for me, to be frank, and so overwhelmingly American. Anyway, December is so far away! It looks like you have plenty of books lined up for you there :D
Ria wrote: "Anyway, December is so far away! It looks like you have plenty of books lined up for you there :D"Yep, I'm obsessed with planning, hahaha. But really, I'm not good at executing plans, but I try my best to follow the plan 80%. I'm allotting 20% for the books of the month.
ABKD: Wala namang nagmamadali!
Mga 2 kampon ni Hollinghurst.Ang mga nakinig ng soundtrack ng "Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa." Yan ang common namin ni Angus har har.
