Reading We by Yevgeny Zamyatin, the famous grandfather of dystopia novels. Haha. Got that info and the book itself from Jzhun. Preparation for the F2F!

Naku, nanggigil ako sa kaofficemate ko ng dahil sa kanya eto ang first book purchase ko for the year. Grrr... Dinala niya sa counter, binigay ang sm advantage card sabay tingin sakin, "bayaran mo na". Epic.
Anyway, I'm still reading
and started
I'm currently reading two books.
and The Poem of the Man-God by Maria Valtorta, almost exactly like the bible, only it has more details and visual into it and thats coming from a person who doesn't much enjoy reading the bible.

I don't know but I can't seem to finish it. Maybe I'll read it some other time.
Currently reading Three Junes by Julia Glass, won the National Book Award, and a short novella, Somewhere Between Lovers & Friends by Martha Cecilia.
...and Nick Hornby's Fever Pitch! Football! Football! Football! Stop shouting Kwesi, you are not really a fan of Football. Haha.
Ray wrote: "still reading "7 habits of highly effective people"!!=)"Hope you'll like the book, Ray!
That one's meaningful for me when I read it back in college. ^_^

Louise, a member from the group, and I talked about this novel last year.
Do attend some of our major meet ups.
But I do hope that you'll like the book first. This book was my first introduction to literary feminism. :)
I heard your discussion regarding with the Color Purple and I was so shocked when I saw Louize's notebook. O crap, I wish I could jot down ideas and anything in a notebook. Haha. That was a heavy discussion anyway and short. Uhum!

I'm reading this. Nakita ko siya sa Fully Booked and since I am interested in time travel stories (salamat Doctor Who!) I decided to get it. I also liked the cover, which I later realized was by James Jean. :D
