Hi guys! I'm new here, by the way. I know it was suggested to make introductions in another thread but I couldn't as I'm too excited to be talking about books. So, I'm introducing myself by sharing my current read: The Girl with All the Gift by M.R. Carey; Anne of Green Gables by L.M Montgomery; Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin
Yeaaah, I shuffle my readings. It's great to be sharing with you, all! Looking forward to recommendations and discussions. ☺️😬
Hi! I'm currently reading The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater and I'm loving the series so much! I've also already started reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. I'm only a couple of pages in and I haven't continued reading. I'm gonna get back to it once I've finished reading The Raven Cycle series and then I'm gonna read HP and the Order of the Phoenix! I'm excited haha!
Im new to reading books as a hobby, im currently reading the Twisted cedars series(im on book 2 out of 3). got me hooked pretty hard
Ian wrote: "Currently reading F.H. Batacan's Smaller and Smaller Circles. Really good."I also read this one last year when it first entered the bookstores. It is a really good read :)
Oooooh! I finished reading the Peculiar Children series January this year and I absolutely enjoyed it! I hope you end up enjoying it too!
Hullo! I'm currently reading And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. Has anyone read this book? :)
Just finished The Upside of Unrequited and was severely disappointed. The plot was so basic. Don't know why people rated it so high.
I just finished Colleen Hover's "It Ends With Us".Has anyone read this book..? It's really heartbreaking & I cry a lot of tears. Mixed emotions. smh.
Hi I'm currently reading Rebel Spring (third of the Falling Kingdom series by Morgan Rhodes). I reread the first two books before starting on this third one. Reminded me why I liked it the first time..
Currently reading Fifty Shades of Grey, again. I've finished the e-book but nothing beats paperback for me. (grin) I've started reading Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse Novels this year and finished it all this year too. :D
I first fell in love with James Patterson's Midnight Club. Ever since I started reading his Alex Cross Novels, my first was Along Came the Spider but until now I haven't finished the series. (sigh)
I haven't bought any new book, I'm a Booksale-girl (haha). The smell of used books are addicting (drools, haha).
Lately I realized I also like romance since Jennifer Crusie's Bet Me, hence EL James Trilogy (grins).
I am also a wattpad member, inactive for years then just last month I got hooked with wattpad stories. Started to write also. (shy smile, haha)
Hoping for any series to read or just a stand-alone would be fine. Oh, and any genre too, hopefully that I'll like. ;-)
Just finished with
by Cheryl Lu-Lien Tan, which was really interesting because the entire book was written in Singlish. Also done with
by Meg Cabot, which I finished in less than a day, a feat for me these days. Loved it!Now about to read, choosing between
by Julie Koh or
by Colleen Hoover.

If you like chick lit, I just finished reading
by Meg Cabot. I had so much fun. It's part of a series, but they can all be read as standalones. I liked the first one too which is
. Happy book hunting and reading! :)
Currently reading “Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine” by Gail Honeyman and I am in love with the story and the characters.
Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina. I wanted to read this first before watching the movie (and the book called Android Karenina) but I’m making such a slow progress right now that I just might go ahead before I’m done.
Dead Souls (Inspector Rebus, #10) by Ian Rankin80% done and I already know that I might suffer from a slight book hangover.
I am currently reading the art of war from sun tzu :)Actually Ive been trying to finish it since I got it a month ago.
If anyone wants to read this book with me thatll be awesome!
I am currently reading 2 books:1. Burial Rites by Hannah Kent -- for my own new-to-me authors challenge 2018
2. How to Stop Time by Matt Haig -- for my book club.
I don't normally read two books simultaneously, but this year is going to be different.
I'm currently reading Genesis by Brendan Reich. It's the second book in the series Project Nemesis (I think). It's kinda slow though so I'm finding it very hard to finish. And i dont like dnf-ing a book. So, guess i dont have much choice but to finish it. 😅
Well for the life of me I couldn't seem to finish The Alchemist. Don't get me wrong it has a good and inspiring story but having to read words like "Personal legend, Soul of the world, etc.. multiple times just doesn't make for a good reading imho. I guess I just have to stick to my preferred genres then. I just bought the 20th anniversary edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I will probably read it this Saturday.
