Vin's Mistcloak (Mistborn)
Commander Shepard's armor and Black Widow sniper rifle (Mass Effect)
All of Shepard's spaceship models (Mass Effect)
(view spoiler) (ASOIAF, book 4 [I think])
Dragnipur (Malazan)
Harry Potter's invisibility cloak
Can probably think of more later.

And when I win the lotto I'll buy it here!

Or you could write an awesome book and win it. Though the Gemmell award might be a little smaller.

The Magic Map - I can't remember what its from buts a map that lets you instantly transport to any location on the map.
Three Headed Monkey Statue
The Subtle Knife
Flying Carpet
The Colt
The Flying V
Ryo-Ohki
Thud Board

From what I recall the winner of the Legend award gets a full sized replica... unfortunately I'm not much for writing!

Luke Skywalker's lightsaber from ROTJ
Selene's Death Dealer pistols- Underworld (I actually already have replicas)
Commander Shepard's model ships- Mass Effect
A Black Widow rifle- Mass Effect
Needle- ASOIAF
Hermione Granger's wand- Harry Potter
Kaylee's umbrella- Firefly
Shepard Booke's Bible- Firefly
Wash's dinosaurs- Firefly
Sting- Hobbit/LOTR
Han Solo's blaster pistol
The Scythe- Buffy the Vampire Slayer

First, a wall of swords:
Moralltach and Fragarach (iron druid)
The Sword of Truth
Slayer (kate daniels)
Shard blade (The way of Kings) although it usually vanished when not being used but I'll ignore that
Bob the Skull (Dresden)
A wizards Staff (Dresden)
enchanted leather duster (dresden)
abomination (MHI)
Shard plate (Way of Kings)
Invisibility Cloak (HP)
Mist Cloak (Mistborn)
Shadow cloak (king killer)
Naczal (emperors blades)

Eterne, Sir Able's magic sword in Gene Wolfe' Wizard Knight duology.
I wouldn't mind Harry Potter's invisible cloak.
Not sure what else... but again, great idea for a topic.

Luke Skywalker's lightsaber from ROTJ
Selene's Death Dealer pistols- Underworld (I actually already have replicas)
Commander Shepard's model ships- Mass Effect
A Black Widow rifle- Ma..."
Good list...but more importantly....GO WILD!

The Falcon's 3-d holo-chess board.
The main screen from an Enterprise.
Oh! And an Emergency Medical Hologram so I don't have to go to the doctor ever again.
The picture of Dorian Gray would be an interesting talking piece. But, uh, maybe not staring at me in a bedroom!

You could use it as a dart board for extra satisfaction.
Following last month's reading, I'd currently go for the machete flute from The Einstein Intersection. Not because I can play the flute, not because we have dense jungles to hack through in northern England, not even because I particularly loved the book, but just because I'm really curious about how it looks and works.

Maybe Jean Tannen's Wicked Sisters.
Orcrist. Definitely Orcrist.
I don't know. Looking around me, I already have replicas of most of the items I'd list: Cap's Shield, The Doomhammer, Luke's lightsaber, Colonial Marine Pulse Rifle.

I would pick:
Hermione Granger's time-turner.
A holocron from the Star Wars EU.
The pirate ship in the bottle from the Green Rider Series.
And while not a decoration, I'd want Pickwick from the Thursday Next series, because who wouldn't want a cloned dodo for a pet?

I'd replace my closet with the wardrobe from The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe;
Replace the bed with free fall plates from Larry Niven's Known Universe;
On the wall over the bed, Excalibur crossed with a Light Saber;
The windows to the left of the bed looking out over Coruscant;
The wall on the other side covered with the tapestry from Vance's Dying Earth stories;
On the wall facing the bed, the painting forged by Shai in Sanderson's Novella, The Emperor's Soul and 2 huge bookcases flanking it.
I have to think more about what's in the bookcases because I want to fill them with books that only exist as things mentioned in books I've loved ...

Books mentioned in this topic
Coinspinner's Story (other topics)Libriomancer (other topics)
Display or sentimental purposes only, what it does or is worth is completely irrelevant. However it can also be something that you'd be able to pick up, even if the characters don't. (ex: a dragon scale from Temeraire or a coin from Smaug's hoard.)
{Try to avoid something that would hint at spoilers or hide them like Dara did}.
I could fill an a room with Sanderson stuff alone.
1) Steel Inquisitor eye spike. (Mistborn)
2) Vin's Mistcloak and Obsidian Dagger. (Mistborn)
3) Shardplate, Shardblade, Soulcaster and a Gemheart (a small one) (Way of Kings)
4) Bead of Atium, some of those Crystal Kandra bones and a Koloss Sword. (Mistborn)
6) Nightblood (Warbreaker)
7) Wayne's Hat (Alloy of Law)
Some other nicknacks that come to mind.
- The Sigil of The Spider (Lies of Locke Lamora)
- I actually would like a scale from Temeraire and a coin from Smaug's hoard.
