"I'm sorry about your mom." He paused."I used to be mad that she would make you leave. My parents haven't really been the same. They thought I was overreacting. I didn't think I was. My dad thought I needed a doctor. My mom disagreed with that and since that they haven't been the same." He sighed.

He nodded. "There is my sisters old room you can sleep in. She has all sorts of clothes. She has a crap load of make up and things in there as well." Then he looked at the air hockey table."Do you think you would still beat me at air hockey?"
"Um that is a good question." He didn't know what to do. The usual prize for him would be a kiss. But he never won. So he couldn't get his first kiss to be her."How about the usual?" She would always wanted his candy or something like a toy that he had or whatever she wanted."You know I lost a lot of candy and toys because of you."
"Same as always prize." He really didn't care if Dani found out that he kissed Kenzi. He would of gotten the kiss he always wanted. "I don't care what she thinks." He walked to the table. "Ladies first."
He couldn't get passed her. He gotten a little bit better. "I know your playing fair. I must be really bad at this game. I never one once." He shook his head. "Was I always this bad at this game?" He asked because he scored a point for her.
"Thank for giving so much hope for winning." He laughed. He could get that kiss he wanted after all. He must of improved. He hit towards her side of the table. It stopped in the middle. "Stupid puck."
"You did what?! I lost my candy and toys because you cheated." Then he quickly said. "I don't care it was just toys and candy." He was so mad at her, but not a bad mad. A can't believe it mad. "I go on strike." He went to his bean bag chair. He crossed his arms to add affect.
"I'm on strike. I lost tons of skittles and m+ms oh and don't forget about my big king sized candy bars I lost." He turned around and looked the other way. "If you must know I lost count." He sat there just like a little kid would.
"I bet they were. Especially sense they were someone else's." He sat there trying hard to stay mad at her. "I think I'm doing a very good job at being mad at you." He tried so hard not to smile. A huge smile came upon his face.
"Well think you for rubbing it in my face." He couldn't help,but smiling at her. "I could never stay mad at you. " He sat there."So who won the game. If you won I do have a big bag of skittles." He went over to the mini fringe. "Don't these look so good." He said waving back and forth.
"And I get what I want." He kept waving the skittles back and forth. He tossed the to her."Tell me if you can taste the rainbow." He said laughing. He will get his kiss. He dreamed about this forever. Well she didn't need to know that.
"Ok." He nodded. So how should this play out. Should he wait to make the first move. He thought she should do it. He stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do next.
He walked over there to where she was. He gets to kiss her. He was excited and nervous. This was his best friend. He leaned forward and kissed her.
He kept telling himself to push away. Yet he didn't want to. Kissing her felt so good. He didn't want the kiss to end. Then the doorbell rang. He just stayed there for a few extra seconds.
((G2G))He looked out the window. It was Dani."That girl can't seem to stay out of my business." He dialed his cell phone."Hey my mom says that we are having the new girl and her folks over for dinner. Sorry you can't come in. Bye." He heard her scream. She was gone."Sorry about that."
"Well you scared them off, but you haven't me." He looked up."Do you want to play again?" He had so much fun playing with her. "I didn't chose to date Dani. I thought I was never going to see the person who liked ever again." He sat down back on his bean bag.
He laughed."That fringe is full of candy." She was a good kisser. Why was he thinking about that. He had a girlfriend. "I'm glad you came back.
"Well I feel honored." He smiled. "So are you up for another game." He gave big grin."I understand it would be a shame for you to lose against me." He let a light laugh out.
"Rainbows taste good then." He went over to the table. Never came across his mind that he was being flirty. He was just acting like he always did. "Are you ready to win?" He said with a smile on his face.
He was having so much fun. He was losing like always though. "So would you come to watch me play. I'm telling you I improved a lot." He said with a laugh.
"Awe I though you like become my number one fan. You could become like a fan girl." He knew she would never do that. He let a big smile come on his face."You probably are my number one fan, Dani is just a person who likes to use people." Why was he with her in the first place?
"She wasn't like that. Remember that little shy girl who always got picked on at the playground. The one who liked to swing." She was used to be nice. He had no clue what happened to her.
"Well at first she was really nice. Then something happened. I don't know what. Now she despises everybody." He looked up at her. He didn't know what else to say.
"No. I didn't. We an agreement upon that. I'm not ready for that and even if I was I wouldn't it want it to be with her." He paused for a second."Why I'm dating her is good question? " He shrugged his shoulders."I just still think her as that sweet girl she was. I know she isn't."
"So sleepy head who won the game?" He was ready to get her candy for her prize."How is life in my prison going for you. Do I supply enough torment for you." He said with laughter in his voice.
"Ok. You can either have another bag of skittles or m+ms." Then he smiled."I guess I get to taste the rainbow." He got up to the fridge. Grab the two bags. "Which one is it going to be? Oh and thank I do my best to throw the worst torment out there."
He leaned forward and kissed her. He really didn't taste the rainbow yet. He didn't care. It felt so right to kiss her.
His hands slowly went to her back. He pulled her closer. He was thinking about to stop. He didn't care. He didn't want to. He was finally doing something he always wanted to do.
He felt her hands go through his hair. He couldn't stop. He wanted to do this to do this for a long time. He finally got to wrap himself around her. He got to kiss her and hug her.
His back was against the wall. He grabbed her tightly. He kiss her harder. He was trying to gasp for air,but that would ruin the moment. He felt like there was fire in the room.
He moved his hands slowly down to her waist. He pressed harder. They were so close together. This was the best kiss he ever had. He heard a car door slammed. He should move away to check who it was. He couldn't stop this.
Then he heard the front door shut. He should back away. He didn't want it to stop. He finally pushed away."I should go see who it is." He said slowly not wanting to leave. "Hey you said I would be able to taste the rainbow and I never did." He smiled. He went downstairs. "Mom your home early.""Yes I got call from Dani you wouldn't let her in. Why was that?"
"Well I had a friend come over. This friend of my doesn't get along with Dani. I invited my friend for dinner."
"Let me go say hi to your friend." She walked up the stairs. She saw that the game room was open.
"Kenzi." His mom whispered. She looked like she saw a ghost. "Yeah she is the new girl and I invited over for dinner and we just got done playing air hockey." He smiled. She was back. He couldn't believe he had his best friend was back. "You interrupted our game." Lie.
"Oh I'm sorry. I will call you guys down for super." His mom left.
"Do you want to play another game?" That would be his excuse to kiss her again.
He should feel bad about kissing her. He did have Dani as a girlfriend. "Ok." He walked over near her .He shut the door so his mom wouldn't come in. He leaned forward and kissed her. He deepen the kiss. Trying to pick up where they left off.
He wrapped his arms around her back and pulled her closer. He pressed harder against her lips. Wanting that feeling of kissing her to come back. It was coming back. He couldn't stop. He wouldn't stop.
He thought about stopping. This is consider cheating. The kiss felt warm and inviting. She wanted to kiss him to. Dani forced people. This was not forcing anybody. It felt natural to do this. He slowly pushed her closer again. They couldn't get any closer than they were. His breathing increase dramatically. He didn't care. He finally had the girl of his dreams.
How long have they been like this? Time didn't matter. All that matter was now. He was with Kenzi. He would do anything to be with her. He felt himself drawing closer to her. He put everything he had into his kisses he gave her.
He heard his mom calling them for dinner. He didn't want to push away. He was doing what he wanted to do forever. Was she just kissing him because she liked kissing or does she really like him. He didn't care right now everything was perfect. He couldn't push away not now. It was so right.
His heart was racing. They kissed three times. Those three kissed were the best he ever had. "I want to do that since I made that as my prize if I won." He smiled at her. He liked her since the first day he met. He had a girlfriend. He felt guilty. But he didn't feel terribly guilty. It felt right. After all it was his prize.
"Are you ready for dinner?" He asked trying to clam his breathing down. He wasn't doing a very good job. He want to lean forward again. He couldn't though. His mom would kill him. She can't find out. He has to break up with Dani. Sooner or later. He wasn't sure if she liked him or not.
"Ok. Do you remember the way?" He teased. He wanted to scream at his mom for interrupting them in a middle of something that was so important to him. He couldn't leave his position. He just wanted to stay that way for ever.
She kissed him again. Then she pulled away. He was longing for more. He want to lean back in. "Coming let us finish this game that we are on.""Ok." She yelled back. He quickly lean forward and starts kissing her again.
He pressed closer to her. He bought them some time. Hoping it would be enough time. He wrapped his arms around her back again. His heart started racing again. He didn't care what she was. She will always be his best friend.
He knew she was dangerous. He knew people were after her. He didn't care. He wanted to keep kissing her forever. He could. He pressed harder into her. Wanting to kiss her was his goal. Now he had made it. He wanted more.
Hayden didn't want to go too far. Not yet. He pushed away."I can't not yet. Ok." He felt bad for saying these words. His mom would be excepting them. He couldn't do yet. He still felt bad cause he was cheating on his girlfriend."Please don't be mad at me."
"I'm glad your not mad at me." He smiled. "So are you going to superfan for me?" He asked with a sweet voice. He knew the answer. He opened the door."Lead the way."
"So Kenzi what brings you back in town." Hayden told himself not to worry Kenzi was a good lair when she needed to be. He smiled. He missed having his best friend around. He won't let anything get to her. The other kids will treat her nice tomorrow.
"Then why did you enroll in school then?" He wanted to scream shutup to his mom. He knew nothing would make his mom change the subject. So he really didn't want his mom finding about what happen at the coffee shop. Or how he could kiss Kenzi. He liked it. And how he didn't want Dani but Kenzi.
"Oh that's good." She nodded her head while she ate some of her food."So Hayden did you help Kenzi out today at school?" "Yeah I helped her out." He really hated how his mom was so nosy at times. She didn't need to know how his whole life got flipped around today.
"Well we been very busy. I came home early from a business trip. I leave again Friday night and won't come back for a couple weeks. His dad will be home next Saturday then he leaves Sunday." Hayden felt sad for not being able to spend time with his parents.
