((XD That's kinda what I was hoping for. :P Time for some action!!!))

Matt hears Roni's voice, and the memory dissapears. He lies, breathing hard. "C-come in..." He says quietly. His face is pale and he's covered in sweat.

Matt's face contorts in confusion. "What? Who?" He says. He gasps as a sudden burst of pain sweeps through his body.

Matt cringes as she lifts him into the chair. He leans back and tries to calm down. He hears his lock click and cranes his head to see Roni locking the door. "What are you doing?" He asks, mystified.

Matt shifts his weight, trying to get comfortable. "In the chest..." He says. He doesn't let many people go through his things, but he realizes there isn't another option here.

Matt swallows two of the pills, and studies Roni. Her body language told him she was nervous, scared perhaps. She was tapping her foot unknowingly, and slightly biting her lip. Her left eye twitched ever so slightly. "Roni, you're an open book. What are you worrying over?"

Matt's eyebrow rises. "I don't know many people around here." He says stupidly. "You mean Ruby, right?" He sighs.

Matt's eyes go wide. "Marshall? Marshall Simmons?" He asks in disbelief.

Matt blinks. "Gosh." He sighs. "And here I thought he'd be in prison for the next four years..."

Matt looks worried. "He hurt you?" Matt grows angry. "Shoulda figured he'd do that." He thinks, then decides. "I might as well tell you the story."

Matt takes a breath. "I met Marshall a year ago, in my hometown. He was shoplifting from a grocery store. I figured he had no place to go since he was hungry enough to steal. So I offered to help him. I took him home and fed him. My parents asked him where his parents were, and he said he had none." He swallowed. "So my parents called child services. They told the person in charge 'Marshall Simmons', and he told us to hold him until they got there. Half hour later a cop car pulls into the driveway, and Marshall is arrested. He goes nuts, and lightning explodes from his body. The cops were unconscious, so I went after him. I stopped him with my own powers. More cops came, this time with a SWAT team. Marshall's taken away, swearing he'd have his revenge."

((Lol, yup))
Matt sighs. "I dunno. I'm hoping I can talk to him and clear everything up, but I don't know." He considers the options he has. "I don't think we should involve Baldiver, though."

Roni nods, he didn't seem like much of a 'sit down talk it out' kind of person. But what else did they have to go on. "I don't think we should involve Alex either- sorry but she's going to get herself killed and we both know it." Roni says with a sigh and plops down on the floor, "You don't like furniture very much do you?"
Matt's heart aches at the mention of Alex, and he looks away as tears come to his eyes. He swallows the lump in his throat, and tries not to sound choked. "Yeah, I grew up with little on the farm, so it's uncomfortable for me to have much of anything." Matt bites his lip, hoping she didn't notice.

She thinks about Marshall. He didn't seem like a naturally violent person. Just misunderstood. She hopes that they can talk some sense into him.
Matt bites his lip as an awkward silence rolls in. He wonders of he could talk Marshall out of violence. Hopefully. He thinks again of Alex, and wonders what she's up to. He opens his mouth to speak, the hesitates. "How is Alex?" He says finally.

Matt swallows. "I don't know what to do, really." He says. "You know, about Ruby and Aidan. They're scared of me, but a I want to do is go back to how things were... And Alex doesn't help with that."

((seriously GAH! I keep thinking he's gonna pop in XD ))
((Lol, it doesn't make any sense for him to pop in! How would he know which dorm? :P))
Matt sighs. "I hope so." He wheels over to a wall, and pulls up a sketch to reveal a sketch of Alex. He smiles. "You find anybody for you yet?" He asks in a teasing voice. "Or any possibilities?"

Roni looks over as he looks at the sketch of Alex smiling to herself a little then hears his question. Roni rolls her eyes despite the fact she's blushing a little, "I wish you and Alex would quit that." she complains.
Matt chuckles. "Why? It's too fun." He takes a last look at the sketch then lets it be covered by the other sketches. He looks up at the ceiling, studying the landscape he'd drawn. The three figures under the tree seemed like a dream. Matt sighs. "Wonder where Marsh is..."
((Gtg, g'night!))
((Gtg, g'night!))

Roni lays back on the floor with her head in her palms looking at the landscape on the ceiling, hardly noticing the three figures, "I wish I knew." Roni replies. "Oh- Matt." she says suddenly forgetting something, "If it wasn't Marshall what happened to you earlier?" she asks, it had completely slipped her mind that she'd found him looking half dead on the ground.
Matt goes red. "I-I was trying to... You know... Walk." Matt says reluctantly. He swallows, wondering what her reaction will be.

Matt sighs. "It sucks." He says simply. He bites his lip, wondering just how long it'll take to get him out of the chair.

"Yeah." Matt says. He chuckles. "Where's a biokinetic when you need one?"
"Not much." Matt says, he wheels over to a wall and pulls down a drawing. "But I made this for Aidan." He shows her the drawing. It's a burning heart. Water pours onto the heart, causing smoke to rise, which forms a broken heart. Drops of water fall from the main heart, forming many small hearts.
Matt smiles. "Thank you." He studies the picture himself, then tacks it back on the wall. "I haven't given it to Aidan yet because I'm waiting for the right time."
"I hope so." Matt says. He starts to feel caged in his small dorm. "Dang. I want to go see Alex..." He wheels to the door. "You comin?"

Matt sighs. "Don't worry about it." He says. "We'll let Marsh find us on his own. IF he finds us." He unlocks the door and wheels out.
