"Mmhmm." Alex nods. "I couldn't leave the café. Besides, It's not like I have anywhere else to go anyway." She shrugs.
((XDXDXD One gypsy, coming up!))
Matt nods, taking that in. He then notices a sketch on the floor. "Hey, Alex, could you pin that on the wall? Anywhere's fine." It was a sketch he'd done several days before coming to Baldiver, a gypsy done in red pencil.

"Uh, alright." She picks up the picture and looks around. Standing on her tip-toes, she tacks up the picture.
"Thanks." Matt says, fitting a church between two buildings. "I used my mom for that one." He says quietly. "She didn't like holding still, but was quite proud when I was finished." He laughs.
Alex smiles. She never had a relationship with her family. Except for her sister. "Got any black stallions?" She asks blankly.
Matt points to a sketch by the window. "If you lift up that one of Blitz, there's our horse. His names Charlie. He wasn't black, but more of a tannish grey."

Alex nods. She has a habit of going quiet, and she does it again. Sitting on her guitar case, she just goes back to watching Matt.
Matt cocks his head to the side, having a sudden thought. "I wonder what they'll do with this room when I move out..." He smiles. "It be a shame to remodel it."
Alex looks around, not knowing what to say to that. She pulls her little notebook out and starts writing in it, stopping only to put her pencil to her lips for a second. She hums softly to herself.
((kk I might not be on a whole lot after 5 cuz its my bros birthday and Im throwing him a party lol))
Matt continues drawing, listening to Alex humming. He smiles, thinking of the Heart Landscape. He'd give it to her when he was finished with it. He kept drawing, wondering how much longer it would be till he finished.
Alex looks up. "Wow. You work fast." She comments.
Matt nearly falls from the step ladder. "Secret knock, first, bro." Matt laughs. He gets down from the ladder and heads to the door.
Alex's eyes widen. "Uhh...." she winces, waiting for a fight.

Matt grins. "No, it's fine." He walks back to the step ladder. "Come on in, have a seat... on the floor..." He laughs. "Ah, before I forget, there's a picture I drew for you over there." Matt points to the wall. "It's a firebird."
Alex keeps clammed up, not saying anything. *Well this is kind of awkward...* she thinks to herself.

Matt notices Alex stiffening up. He sends a puzzled look her way when Aidan isn't looking. Then realization hits. "So, Aidan, how classes been?" He asks trying to show Alex it's alright.

Alex is still stiff to the point she's almost shaking. She looks around. Finally, she goes back to writing in her book.
"You and me both, man." Matt goes back to drawing on the ceiling. "I got lectured by three teachers..." He shakes his head. "Ah, well. I'd rather have lectures than Ms. Cognitokinesis in my head."

"Yeah, I even tried to explain the holiday." Matt joked. "She said since it wasn't government related, so we don't get off." He laughs, trying to ease up the tension.
Alex looks up at Matt. She rolls her eyes, and looks back down. She sighs as she hits a mind block.

Matt nods, taking that in. He then notices a sketch on the floor. "Hey, Alex, could you pin that on the wall? Anywhere's fine." It was a sketch he'd done several d..."
((OHMYZOD I LOVE THIS))
"Um, that nickname is entirely irrelevant, numskull, since I'm not drawing, neither do I profess in, abstract art." Matt jokes. "It's a landscape, if you must know. From my hometown. This is the view from the mountain I used to hike to."
((XD I found it on the internet. ;P))
((XD I found it on the internet. ;P))

Matt laughs. "Hmm." He thinks of the artists he'd heard of. "Michelangelo or Leonardo," He says, "Your choice."
Alex mumbles something to herself. She turns her pencil over and furiously rubs the page. "SCREW THIS!" she screams in exasperation. She tears the page from her book and throws it across the room.
Matt looks over. "Having writer's block?"
She smacks her forehead. "Yeeeees." She moans. "It sucks..."
Alex looks at him, confused. "I dont draw... I'm a singer." She points out obviously. She taps the guitar case she's sitting on.
Matt laughs. "She's a musician, dude, not an artist. She's writing a piece of music." He finds this amusing, and keeps laughing for a bit. When he controls himself, he continues drawing.

"I have no comment on that." Alex replies. She crosses her arms and watches Matt, going silent once more.
Matt is almost done. He adds several trees to the side of the village, and some clouds. Finally, he shades the drawing, making it more realistic. "There," he says, coming down, "all finished." He puts his pencil behind his ear, and lays on the ground. "Whataya think?"
Alex smiles. "Its beautiful." She stands and stretches, getting ready to leave.
Matt studies it, then jumps up. "Wait, I forgot something." He steps onto the step ladder again, and quickly draws three figures standing under a tree. "That's us." He says.
Alex cocks her head. *Ah well, that question can wait till tomorrow.* She thinks. She sighs. "Well g'night you guys. I dont want to get in trouble." She picks up her guitar and walks out the door.
