The time has arrived. We will be doing our live episode for Ready Player One on Tuesday 21. Here are some questions and thoughts that I don't feel are that necessary. I think this thing is gonna be a geek fest. I'm ok with that btw.
1. Do you think Halliday is a selfish person for not using his money to try and make the world a better place?
2. I think many parents would take advantage of the OASIS like Wade's mother did. Using it to babysit children
3. I would totally visit Arakis and ride a sandworm. What would be some of your trips or goals in the OASIS?
4. I really enjoyed the fact that there were separate technology and magic zones. Which way would your avatar lean?
4. What would your contact card be? For example, mine would be based on the file card on the back of GI Joe figures.
5. Random thought: Wil Wheaton mentioning himself with Cory Doctrow was funny. (Read Doctrow people)
6. Do you have an idea for a quest in the game? Mine is based on the Last Dragon. You fight Shonuff and gain the ability the glow. And I want the music in the background.

Some mild NSFW
can't make the episode. Email thoughts or send a voicemail to goliversereads@gmail.com
Hope to see and hear from everyone Tuesday.
Now I"m off to watch the Last Dragon. It's been too long.

There was a reference to the glow in the book. Did anyone catch it?

Jennifer (jenlynn97) | 60 comments I haven't been able to catch the last two eps live because I have been in the process of moving. I am all settled in now and I AM going to catch this one live! I haven't finished the book yet but I will before Tuesday. Right now it is reading like all of my favorite things from being a kid (though I wasn't technically a teenager until the 90s).

Me either. But I remember most of the stuff discussed. Glad to have you back Jennifer. Hope the move was painless.
