German title issues and edition questions

Hiya,

this is about these two editions:

1) I was fumbling around with my shelves when I noticed that the German edition of The Whispering Road has an iffy title error. Well, it's not exactly a spelling error, but frankly it's just wrong. In regular plain German, it's spelled "Straße" instead of "Strasse". It's spelled Strasse on the book cover because "ß" doesn't have an uppercase version of itself, which is why it's replaced with "ss" in cases like that. But technically, it's the wrong spelling when not spelled in uppercase. I know it says "Strasse" on the book cover, but I own the edition with the isbn 9783551356925 and on the inside right on the first page it's spelled "Straße". Can I change it? (Also, I am aware that the spelling comes straight from worldcat, but amazon and German librarias list it with "Straße" instead.)

2) There is conflicting information in this edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...
The isbn 9783551553478 brings me to a hardcover version on amazon (incidentally with a cover that isn't spelled in caps and thus spelled correctly) as well as German libraries. On goodreads it has a completely different cover than the one shown on those pages and is also marked as a paperback instead of the hardcover that it actually is. The cover shown on goodreads happens to be the one of the actual paperback version that I own. What can be done about this?

Ah, sorry, that's weird cause it's fine for me.

I've got 9783551356925, which is the blue paperback. Which is the paperback. The other one is a hardcover on all sites with the red cover that can be seen on amazon except for here.

hrm. so the goodreads record for the book you have in hand matches, at least? it's just the hardcover record on goodreads that doesn't match amazon's? i tried looking for the ISBN associated with the hardcover on worldcat, but they don't have a cover up for it. amazon is hardly infallible. i'm not sure if we're allowed to use info from the german library site. if your book and goodreads matches, i'm tempted to leave it alone for now.

scratch that, i'll go ahead and make an alt cover edition with the red cover. i'm not sure what the right cover is for that ISBN, or if it ever has been published with the blue one, but at least we'll have a record of the red one on goodreads in some form.
