Luisa (deborahluisa) This book is set in 2044 and "the world is a ugly place".

Well i read this a few weeks ago (i dont really follow the order of the weeks) and i ABSOLUTELY loved it!
It went straight to my top 3 favorite books. I really really enjoyed all the 80's references. Wade is really a great main character and the story is awesome. :)

i super recommend it! :D

Jasmine (pikakejazz) I am excited to read this one. Probably won't get to it for a little while, but I want to read it for this challenge for sure!

Audra (audri8301) I just finished this one, and found it to be so much fun!

Josephine Showers | 1 comments As a child of the 80's I adored all the many references to my childhood, though I didn't read it for this particular part of the challenge (number in the title) - it was definitely a fun read!

Cherie | 117 comments Also did this one for this week. Absolutely loved it! I listened to the audiobook, and Wil Wheaton made it amazing! I was born in the 80's so many of the references were kind of over my head. Such a great story! Loved it!

Aline (thousanduniverses) | 53 comments I've read this book a few weeks ago and I absolutely loved it! It went straight to my favorite books as well :)

Anastasia (anastasiaharris) | 319 comments I read this for set in High School and loved it. I lived through the 80's and still missed some of the references. I am currently trying to get the audio book through inter-library loan so I can hear Wil Wheaton read it.

Jasmine (pikakejazz) I'm going to finally start this one today! I just barely finished the MaddAddam trilogy, so it will be interesting to compare to another sci-fi novel... Is this one considered a dystopia too?

Jasmine (pikakejazz) Finished! Not my absolute fave, but I thought it was pretty entertaining. I agree with Cherie, a lot of the references were over my head. I feel like I should look into some of the movies Cline referenced or something.

My review here.

Ah finally, someone else who doesn't loved it!

I think we can't see your reviews as your profile is private (except for friends) ;)

Aha! Thanks Zaz! No one else has even mentioned it, haha.

It works a lot better now :D

Megan (megan_morris) | 170 comments I just finished this on audiobook for this week, I loved it! There were a few scenes I found quite unrealistic or a little obvious but I loved the references and the total nerdy nature of this book. I was afraid they were going to go more the storyline route and ignore the more technical aspects of things to make it for a more general audience.
