Anyone familiar with Joseph Hone? I just started his The Private Sector and am really enjoying it. It's the first in his Marlow series and reminds me of Le Carré or Littell. Can't remember who recommended him, but I'm glad they did.
Steve, I read The Private Sector last year and found it at once interesting and slow. I will try another one of the Hone novels because the series looks like it might fall under the forgotten gems file, Mark
Steve,Thanks for the tip about Joseph Hone. I had never heard of him before. So I did an online search last night and Hone's oeuvre looks rather impressive. I hope the local library has some of his stuff available.
