You'll really enjoy City of Heavenly Fire.
Danielle Steel...the icky romance novelist?

Speak for yourself. Some of us like romance.
It's mostly what I write.

Sorry about that. To each their own and all.:)

This type of question is exactly what our Help Folder is for. ^_-
I would recommend reading City of Ashes next as that would be continuing a series, where Half Bad is the first book in a series. If you're anything like me, you're reading a bunch of different series already.

Sorry, I didn't know there was one! :(

Not a problem. Now you know. ^_^ (And we have A LOT of folders anyway...)

Storm Front was a nice intro to the series. Dresden is like Sherlock with magic. I dig it!

I read that book years ago and thought it was good but the series really started to get boring.

I didn't really cry that much:/ It was sad, and tragic, but not heartbreaking. It's surprising, since I usually break down on sad endings."
i was really happy that the cancer patient didn't die in the end even though eventually she will

How was it, Tessa?

Glad you enjoyed it. It's one of my wife's favorite books.

When a series comes in a... set of three, like one book is one person, the next book is someone, and the last book is someone. Then the series restarts off with the first starting character in the series. And it does this in a loop of the three set books... Do you all pick favorites in that type of series? B/C this series is perfect in the first two sisters POV's but when it gets to the last sister, the third book in that particular around... It's all like woe is me, wangst I'm a vampire, when I used to be human and part fae.
It takes away from the series for that particular book, all to reset in the next round of three. God I don't know if I'm explaining this right. It goes Camille, Delilah, and Menolly. Then after that last book of Menolly it starts over with Camille.
What I'm getting at though is do any of you find that type of writing hard to read? Or am I the odd duck out and am alone on an island?
Just asking, sorry for the confusion.
