If you've ever thought a book club would be fun but didn't want to be tied down to reading the same book that everyone else is, this is the book club for you. Each month we'll have a topic, and you can read whatever book you want--fiction, nonfiction, as long as it appeals to you and fits the topic.

The topic for February 2014 is "Love Stories".

I read love stories allll the time. I think I'm going to read a classic for this topic- Wuthering Heights. I tried it years ago when I was in my twenties and couldn't get into it. Hopefully it will go better for me this time around.

Melissa (melissapurls) | 38 comments I read Wuthering Heights years ago. Hated it. I didn't see what Heathcliff and Cathy saw in each other. He was broody and jealous and possessive and she was a brat. At least, that was my impression when I was in my teens.

The reviews are mixed..but definitive. People either really LOVE it or really HATE it. There seems to be no "meh" responses.

Melissa (melissapurls) | 38 comments I think I'm going to read Garrison Keillor's Love Me. I've never read anything by him or even listened much to Prairie Home Companion. But this sounds funny.
