Discussion for second half of Slaughterhouse five

I just finished this. I've got more thoughts to add later, but I wanted to say something brief now.

I really liked how the author was there, but he wasn't the protagonist. Every so often someone would say something and the author would write 'that was me'. A neat way to write a story.

Yeah, that really surprised me the first time I read the book. It was so weird to break the narrative for that author interjection, but also so fitting. It's a true story, just one with aliens and getting unstuck in time.
