That's a great goal Sam! My goal is to read a book per month. I have been slacking off lately, but hope to catch up next week.
I completed reading the book Scion of Ikshvakur - 354 pagesCurrently reading Wild- 41 of 315 pages
this month - 803 of 1521 pages
I'm trying to read 500 books for this year...how many pages do you think that'll be? I'm over half way there!
I set my summer reading goal at 60 book! (I have no time to read at college, so I fit it all in during summer). So far I've read 58 and logged 13,572 pages into Pages 4 Progress :D
Though it passes my set goal, my new goal is to read 75 books before I head back in August.

Oh, my. I have logged 1685 pages so far and that barely puts a dent in my to-read pile for the summer. Full disclosure: I am a middle/high school librarian and I figure that reading is basically my summer job! I try to read all of the books on our state student choice book award lists (30 books for middle school, 15 high school). If I finish what I haven't read yet of just those two lists, that's 9554 more pages. Add a few more from the pile, just the ones I really would like to read before school starts, and I have 12003 pages to read. A girl can dream right?
I have read 13,117 pages. I still have a ways to go before I get to my goal. I plan on reading 20,000 pages by the end of this year.
This is so inspiring! Keep reading and telling the world about your great accomplishments and help you are providing World Education!

I like to read at least one book a week! I am well on my way of already having read 44 books this year so far! As for logging my pages on the pages4progress, I believe I have logged over 1,000 pages at least.
I'm on the committee for our state's high school book award, so my goal is to read all of books in my first box by the end of summer, in addition to other new books that I will order for my school's library -- possibly a total of 35-40. We'll see how that goes!

That's incredible. Very neat that you participate in the states curriculum so enthusiastically. So far this summer, what has been your favorite "school list" read?

That was such a good book! One I would read again, and I rarely do that. I'm on a beach vacation right now and hope to finish A Tolkien Treasury by the end of the car ride home Sunday.

Tough choice, Rachel! I haven't finished either list yet, but of the ones I've read on the high school list, I'd have to say The Martian is my favorite (so far). On the middle school list, probably either Greenglass House or The Misadventures of the Family Fletcher. But I have more than half of the list yet to read!
Wow, thats awesome Resca! I loved Glass House! I think your reading can seriously help us reach 1 million pages today.
I hope it's okay to enter all my numbers at once. I already entered June, but did not enter July, August, September. Going to do it now!
Okay, so I didn't hit my 5,000 like I did in May in any of these months, but I had: July: 3,122 pages
August: 3,296 pages
September: 2,036 pages
All based on # of pages of books I read logged on Goodreads for those months.
