Half of a Yellow Sun - Nigerian.
So please don't nominate books from any of those countries as they will not be counted.
Thanks :)

So I'm gonna kick this off with a nomination for On Such a Full Sea by Chang-rae Lee. The author is a first generation Korean American so I thought that would be a cool perspective
It's a new release but I've looked and it appears to be available to buy everywhere now.
I thought it would be exciting to check out a new release together and it just sounds like an excellent concept - so yeah, I hope you all like the sound of it too.
P.S. It is a dystopian, and I know there are so many rubbish dytopians out there now but this one sounds like it could be amazing!

Btw. Its set in India.

The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy as it is also my favorite book.
Crossing my fingers that the link works and doesn't show up as a bunch of html mumbo jumbo!

Ok, good deal then. I was hoping it was something like that!
