Cindy | 36 comments Anyone done this? I've already decided not to go with Ingram Spark. I'm definitely using LS for the print version. But I don't know which channel to go through for the ebook. (and I'm slightly confused about ISBNs regarding CreateSpace). Any advice?

Eddie Stack | 13 comments I do my ebooks on kdp as Kindle users account for the bulk ebook readers. I also format for Apple ibook because it's easy to make great looking books with iAuthor. Ibooks are a growing market, but still only about 5% of my Amazon sales. I just use LSI for print, from what I can gather, their ebook sales may not be worth the hassle and effort.

D.M. (dmyates) I use Smashwords which sends the e-books to many sources, including B&N, apple, and Kobo. I use Kindle for my Amazon e-book and Creatspace for my paperback. I also have my books on Google Books and Google Play. If you haven't bought your own ISBN (they're $10 each and you have to buy a minimum of 100 through Bowkers) Createspace assigns you a free ISBN, but once it's assigned you can't change your mind. Smashwords assigns their own and Kindle has its own system. Google also uses its own system.

Hi Cindy, I am using Create space for Isbin now. What questions do you have. You can get one through them for free or pay a fee for your own number in which you can make your own company name.

Ken (kendoyle) | 347 comments I'd recommend going directly with KDP for Kindle and Draft2Digital for all other channels.
