Price Perdue The Quarter Quell has concluded and uprise is beginning in the newly revolutionized District 13. The Gamemaker for the Quarter Quell, Plutarch Heavensbee, was one of the masterminds behind rescuing Katniss from the Games before anyone could kill her. Unfortunately this motive came with a price and Peeta was left behind. However, District 13 under the command of Alma Coin has managed to salvage what is left of Peeta from the capitol. Peeta has been wounded and tortured and his physical along with emotional attributes have been stripped. Peeta resents Katniss for leaving him there in the games and any "relationship status" there ever was between the two is now gone. District 13 plans to take back the capitol and end the reign of President Snow. However, District 13 needs every hand they can gather, especially the one of their prized "Mockingjay". 142 As Gale joins the forces and prepares to enter battle in the field, Katniss tries to gather her strength as fast as possible and fight for her freedom and the freedom of all the Districts. Katniss' arrows no longer fly for her life, but also for the life of the revolution. However interesting, Finnick and Annie are married and represent the fight against condemnation.

Kristine There's a few things that are incorrect. There wasn't an uprising in District 13. District 13 was already independent of the Capitol. However, they joined the uprisings in other districts to overthrow the Capitol.

Peeta doesn't resent Katniss for leaving him. He was involved in that decision too. He does resent the fact that she was rescued and he left behind because she was considered more important.

By the time the Capitol is ready to fall, Katniss's role as Mockingjay is redundant. Propos could be made without her. And, as Boggs points out, Katniss is regarded as a threat by Coin if she doesn't think that she has Katniss's full support when it comes time to choose a new leader. Coin is suspected of wanting Katniss dead when he sends an unstable Peeta to join the squad.

The motivation for Katniss wanting to get to the Capitol is the desire to kill Snow out of vengeance. For Peeta. For district 12. For the Hunger Games. To Katniss, that's all she has left. She doesn't expect to survive.

What do mean when you say that Finnick's and Annie's marriage represents the fight against condemnation?
