Paula Froelich | 4 comments one of the major themes in my book is Change. How 3 women are forced to change -- one loses her job, one loses her money and a third loses her husband. And that change is at first catastrophic and paralyzing... but in the end is the best thing that happens. it enforces a new wind, a new life. one that you may have been scared of before... I know that well. I had 2 of the worst years ever. really bad. and i spent 1.5 of those years paralyzed with fear, doubt, etc. But with hindsight am able to see that the road i was on, would have made me miserable, a gilded cage.

Jcwillis53 Brown (southerncomfortauthor) | 51 comments For many women change is terrifying. We aren't brought up to accept it/ we are the one's who fix everything from broken knees to a terrible marriage.
We don't know what to do when things go wrong that are totally out of our control. Sounds like your book addresses all of that...good for you. I look forward to reading it. Thanks for sharing why you wrote it. Joyce

Paula Froelich | 4 comments thank s joyce.. its so weird... i always find the hardest thing about change is thinking about it. doing it seems so easy. traumatic, but easily done. and almost always for the best. let me know what you think o the book - its basically about picking up , dusting off and walking on.

Jcwillis53 Brown (southerncomfortauthor) | 51 comments will do. My generation ( I just turned 60) was brought up to believe that women could not stand on our own. Believe you me that is a misconception but it "ain't" easy to overcome whatever life throws at you. I look forward to reading your book.
I guess my book also gives insight but not in the same way. Mine is a collection of short stories based on my life as a Southern female. It seemed important to me to leave these stories to my family in book form and if they can brighten someone's day that is just a bonus!
