lol I think so too! However, their more like 1,000 pages here! That's a long book for someone to get into.

I have read all of the books in this series, and adore them. Yes, as everyone has been saying, they are long. I found them totally worth it though. Martin writes extremely well, and it's refreshing to have an author who doesn't discriminate when it comes to killing off characters!
