Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments Just a few minutes ago, I suddenly saw a Goodreads page which said: "Topics I'm following in this group."

I don't know how I got there. Where is this page? How can I navigate to it?

Jim (jimmaclachlan) I don't see it on the home or discussions pages, Joy. Could it have been part of your email links?

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments I don't think so, Jim. To me it looked like a settings page which flashed on the screen briefly. I wasn't logged into my settings at the time. The page had vertical rows of "dots" next to topic names. The user could click on a dot or not, to indicate if they wanted to follow the topic on that particular line or not.

I'm guessing that GR was working on a draft page and it got online by mistake for a moment. Could that happen?

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments PS-I'm sure the page said: "Topics I'm following in this group" because I immediately typed it on a new notepad doc so I wouldn't forget it.

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments Here's what I learned at the Feedback group:

To navigate to the page, one must click on one's profile and then click on the email tab. At the very bottom of the email tab's page there's a very tiny hyperlinked line which says: "See all discussions I’m following". When you click on that, you see the page which says: "Topics I'm following."

The listing of topics is very unorganized. The topics aren't properly categorized. This makes it too overwhelming to be useful if one is following several different groups. The list even includes people's reviews outside of the groups.

My list is over 46 pages long!

At the top it says that I'm following 1,354 discussions! Impossible!

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments PS-Actually, I still haven't found a page which says the exact words I mentioned in my first post here: "Topics I'm following in this group."

I wonder if I'm imagining that I saw those exact words. I'm almost positive that those were the words I saw.

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments The Feedback group gave me the answer. They posted the following directions:
==================================================
At the bottom of the email tab, above where you found "topics I'm following" is a list of your groups. Beneath each group name is a link "following __ discussions."
====================================================

I replied as follows:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ah! THERE it is! (i.e., the page which says: "Topics I'm following in this group.")
Thank you so much, Elizabeth! I didn't realize those words ("following __ discussions") were hyperlinked!
It feels so good to see how things work!
Jim, looks like you were on the right track. It was all under the email tab at my profile.
Jim (jimmaclachlan) Interesting. GR has a lot of hidden little links all over. I've been on here practically since they started & have never found half of them, I think.
Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments Jim, the links are TOO hidden! I wonder why they don't make them more obvious and therefore more useful.
