Geoff Nelder (geoffnelder) | 34 comments There's an alternative community encyclopedia to Wikipedia known as Wikia. It's free, allows images you own or have copyright without going through tortuous hoops as in Wikipedia - who aren't keen on less well-known authors doing anything there.

Consider using Wikia as exampled here with my ARIA Trilogy

Kevis Hendrickson (kevishendrickson) | 71 comments I started building a Wikia page for my space opera series last year, but didn't get too far. Wikia is a great idea, but I've decided to focus on building my online encyclopedia for my series on my website. It's just more convenient for my readers and I know I have absolute control over the content. But I do expect to go back and polish up that Wikia page at some point in the near future.

Good luck building your own!
