What do you think of the Mayor's wife, Ilsa? - She seems nice, but quiet.

Would you react the same way as Liesel, being in a library for the first time? - Hmm, surrounded by books and I have permission to read which ever one I want to... YES!

What is your earliest memory of a library? - When I was about four or five, I would go to our library and just read until we had to leave.

What are your first impressions of Max? - I was wary as to what happens next.

What do you think of the little victories Liesel and Rudy have with the apples and the candy? - I think they were very happy people.

How does Max's struggle compare with theirs? - He has to hide from his own religion, Liesel never did.
