Same here! It wasn't just the sad thing in the book, it was the actual book. It didn't feel like something that Ann wrote. The writing style was different from the other ones in the series, which added to the disappointment.

This was a book that should never have been written....Ann Brashares should have left her readers with happy memories of the traveling pants sisters, eternally at the cusp of adulthood....reading this book was like meeting a long-lost favorite childhood cousin again after many years and discovering that she has grown up to become an insufferable, self-involved, tedious adult.
