Where should I go now?

Alright ladies and gentlemen,
I am in a pickle. I don't know what to read next. I have read some of the good series books from Harry Potter to Lord of the Rings, and Eragon, and started Wheel of Time but could not get through it. I got more than halfway through the series and couldn't finish it. I got bored. I also did not like the Dan Brown books all that much. The endings were good but not my cup of tea. I absolutely loved Harry potter and Eragon, and I love series of books. What should I read now? I am not sure what to read next. What do you suggest?
