cannot add a book to my books on author page

I had a period after my author name when I first created my author page. i edited the period out but still cannot add my most recent book, Diving for Pearls: A Thinking Journey with Hannah Arendt, to the books's list on my author page.

Can someone help? please

There are two editions here under the correct author name

Put the dot back in your profile

You need to put the period back in. That is standard GR format and that is how your book covers read.

I think that when you removed the dot you effectively disabled the connection between your ordinary account and your author account. The account name you originally claimed no longer exists. I'll add this to the relevant thread for the staff to sort out.

I laugh, because I have a similar problem with periods. I created a new book listing for _Revenge At College_, Hypno-Talkers Of Zlar #3, 9781938293115, with author listed as "Doctor MC" (because that's the way I'm used to typing it). When I was all done and the new record submitted, I discovered that _Revenge At College_ wasn't showing up under my written-by-me listing. So I created a new listing from my author account (with Goodreads specifying the author name as "Doctor M.C.", I noticed). I tried to create the second record as a correction of the first one, but got a big red "duplicate record" error message.

So, dear librarians, please--

1) Change the name of the author of _Revenge At College_ from "Doctor MC" to "Doctor M.C." and do whatever else needs to be done so that this book gets added to my written-by-me listing.

2) Please add "Doug Sturk" to the author section as "Illustrator."
