It has beautiful artwork inside too. The cover drew me to it (and the sale price) in the book store and when I opened it and saw all the artwork I couldn't help myself. I am super excited for this one!!
so I'm gone all day tomorrow (Girl Scout patch workshop, 4 hours of booth sales and THEN an overnight at the zoo! Woohoo!)I'm so sorry! You won't hear from me (probably) until Sunday.... :)
is it just meI hate it when I can't find my cover to the book
my cover is yellow with a frowning face. what is your cover??
My book is hard cover. It has a jacket that is only a half jacket with a smiley face. Underneath the jacket is a frowny face. I think it is
edition.
ooooh! lol My library copy must be missing the 1/2 cover.
mine is just frowning
okay....DONE! LOL! after the craziness that was my flooded garage, I had little time to read but managed to finally get this one done!
It was interesting.
what do you think so far?
Finish, finally.I really loved the drawings but the story was just okay. I enjoyed it but found the format harder to read. Especially the page with the car driving in circles.
I agree with your review, it took forever to find out what happened and why everything changed but it was interesting.
Yeah....I normally find this format really enhances a storyand although I really liked his drawings
I felt it kept us a little detached from some of his struggles
and I think it kept me from liking it as much :(
although i was entertained...I didn't love it
Agreed. Oh well...at least it gave us some pretty pictures and the perfect yellow cover for the colourful year challenge.
