Ender Wiggins was born in a world where people were only supposed to have 2 kids; he was born a third child. He was born for a military organization to have specific qualities that will hopefully make him be the best possible candidate. The people running the organization have been watching him his entire life. Being born a third was not easy for him, he had to deal with the resentment of his older brother Peter, his parents struggle between loving him and being cowards towards the laws, and his only saving grace is his loving sister Valentine. Ender has a choice to make, stay at home to have a fairly normal childhood, or leave his family and his life to go to a military school. When this choice is presented to him, Ender decides to go to the military school, that's what he was born for right?
