"The cuts all over my body?" She said.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Jay lied.
"Don't lie to me." Ari said closing her eyes.
"Cuz I don't want to. You can't really do anything about it," Jay reminded her.
"I can't believe that your lying to me." Ari said.
"Lying to me! Just stop!" Ari screamed.
"You don't care! If you did than you wouldn't be lying!" She yelled.
"Fine," Jay said calmly as he got off the bed and laid on the floor.
Jay closed his eyes and slowly fell asleep.
Jay shifted slightly and bumped the bed.
Jay shifted again, this time away from the bed.
"Dot be like that." Ari said.
Jay snored quietly and curled into a small ball.
Jay stopped shifting and simply slept for the rest of the night.
Ari finally fell asleep. Confused.
((Sorry, I wasn't feeling well. I just got on again.))Jay woke a few hours later and crept silently into the kitchen, hoping Ari wouldn't wake.
Jay quietly prepared breakfast for himself. He froze as he heard footsteps from somewhere inside the house. "Crap," he muttered. Before he could look for a spot to hide, a man in a police uniform entered the room. Other police officers were scanning the building. One was already in the bedroom, puzzled by what they found.
"Huh what's going on?" Ari said waking up.((Sorry I was shoveling snow.))
"We've gotten complaints about screams coming from this building-" the officer told Jay but was cut off when his radio said something to him. Jay couldn't make it out, but the cop's face turned a lot more serious. "Come with me," the officer said, and he led Jay into the bedroom. The officer that was already in there started untying the ropes and trying to open the handcuffs. "We're going to get you out of here, who did this to you?" He asked. Jay had a pleading look in his eyes. Don't tell him! He begged her silently. ((Gtg))
