Help finding a book please. /s

I read a few pages of a book on Amazon that sounded good, but now I cant find it again. It was about an older white woman and a black women. One of them was a hairdresser. Over the years they formed an unlikely friendship. One of them had to take a trip to another state for something and asked the other to make the journey with her. That is about as far as I got. Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't read it but I remembered hearing about it when it first came out. Sounds really good.
