Bridget smiled at Travis, he definitely not what most people would expect from a football captain and she was grateful for that. "You really think so?" She asked, feeling giddy again. Proud, she was mentally shaking inside because she didn't know how to kiss, obviously, she had never done it before. But she knew Travis had to have kissed lot's of girl before her... He should know a good kisser right. "You aren't too bad yourself." She teased smiling at him.

Travis chuckled. Bridget seemed so different from the girl he had first met in the library. She wasn't hiding from him or apologizing for little things. He liked this side of her. Travis rested his palm on her cheek and grinned at her. "You really think so?" He asked mimicking her words. Maybe Crew had been onto something when he said that quiet girls were better than popular girls like Lily.
Bridget smiled and bit her bottom lip, shrugging. "You could use some practice. but yeah, your pretty good." She joked. Travis was an amazing kisser... Which wasn't surprising. He was actually really amazing, she wasn't sure she's ever be able to stop kissing him now when they were closer. How was she going to look at him straight in the hall's without think about his hand on her cheek or his lip's on hers? She wouldn't she was pretty sure she'd never want to leave Travis side. Was the weird? What was this? She'd never had a crush or anything like this.
Travis rolled his eyes but he was still grinning. "That's funny. No one ever said I needed practice before. Maybe it's because they were to shocked that it was me they were kissing." He said sarcastically. "I guess you aren't starstruck." He said in mock disappointment. Even with all the talking they were doing he couldn't help that his gaze kept going back to her lips. He wanted to kiss her again.
Bridget laughed forgetting about everything for a moment and just focusing on Travis and the want of the feel of her lip's on his again. "Mmm. Or maybe they just didn't want to hurt your feeling's." She said grinning at him. She wanted to lean in and forget it all, forget the world. For a moment she just looked at him, admiring how cute he was before pressing her lip's to his again just because she couldn't hold it back anymore. Now that she had done it once she wanted to do it ten million more times. She'd never get tired of it.
Travis was about to reply with a witty comeback when she kissed him again. All thoughts of anything but the feel of her lips on his left his mind. He didn't think he'd ever get tired of kissing her. People were going to freak out when they saw them walking through the halls together. Travis pulled back a thoughtful look on his face. "The popular girls won't be happy." He said. He didn't want her to have to deal with the girls' nastiness because of him.
Bridget hated the feeling she got in her stomach when he pulled away. When he made some comment about the popular girl she rolled her eye's. "It's so worth it." She told him. And it was, if it meant she could be with Travis then she didn't care what other thought about her, she wanted it to bad to give it up just because someone else doesn't want them to be happy. Sure, it'd cause some problem's but it was Travis' life, not theirs. They couldn't control him or Bridget. If both of them wanted it then it could happen.
Travis took both of her hands in his. "I don't think you truly realize how mean they can get if they want something that they can't have." He said earnestly. "I don't want you to have to deal with that." He had seen what some of the girls had done when they thought someone was even remotely thinking about getting with him or another football player. It wasn't pretty.
"Travis... I have been the laughing stock of the school before. I don't think You understand how much I've actually been put through." Bridget shrugged shivering at the thought of having people laugh at her or make fun of her, it's why she preferred to be invisible. "... And I mean it... It's so worth it if it means I can be with you." She whispered, closing her eye's and letting out a deep breath. "Unless you don't want to and if you don't I totally understand but tell me now... I can take it." She said with her eye's still closed.
Travis hated that she had been ridiculed and made fun of before. If he had been around then none of it would have happened. He felt lighter hearing her say that she thought he was worth it all. He didn't think he was but if being with her is what he got out of it then he would be anything she wanted. His mouth dropped open in surprise but she couldn't see because her eyes were closed. The only way he could think of to show her that he wanted to be with her was to kiss her again. He leaned forward and brushed his lips over hers lightly before pulling back. "Don't ever doubt that my wanting to be with you."
Bridget began to feel scared because Travis wasn't saying anything. He was having second thoughts, she had sometimes or done something wrong, there was someone else. Thoughts kept running through her mind until she felt his lip's lightly on her's again. She opened her eye's and back up at him. She let out a sigh of relief. "Oh thank god." She muttered softly. Suddenly, going to homecoming seemed so much more fun. Waking up in the morning and going to school had more of a meaning now. And she wasn't worried about what others thought of it at this point.
Travis chuckled softly. "You really thought I wouldn't want to be with you after all of that?" He asked meaning the kiss. He didn't think that he could go through the day without seeing her or talking to her now. He really needed to talk to Crew and Kegan now to get their thoughts on everything. It was time for change. "I think this tutor session has gone way off topic, don't you think?" He teased.
Bridget shrugged, honestly, she did. But she was super thankful that he didn't. She glanced back at the computer screen and tried to think back to how they even got off topic. She giggled and looked back at him. "Yeah, I guess it did. I don't know how well I'm doing with this tutor thing." She said. "Especially with you... I don't know how I'm ever going to concentrate again with you around." She said. "But... Since we have a few week's to work on it... Maybe we don't have to work on it a whole lot today... And we can get together some other time to work on it." She said, smiling.
Travis glanced back at the computer screen and then back at Bridget. It really wasn't a hard decision. He turned from her momentarily to shut down his computer and put his notebook back in his bag. He checked the time. He didn't have practice for another hour. "Wanna go get a coffee before I have to go to practice?" He asked. Others would see them together and it would set the basis for people to get used to it.
Bridget nodded, getting to her feet and straightening up her papers again and putting them in a random folder, she could organize them again when she got home. "Of course!" She chirped happily. She put the folder in her bag and threw it over her shoulder and turned her attention back to Travis. She smiled at him. "Ready...? She asked him. How would she tell her brother about this? Do you talk to your brother about thing's like this? It was at times like these that Bridget wished she had a sister she could talk to.
Travis stood and slipped his bag over his shoulder before taking her hand. "Yep." He said smiling and walking with her to the parking lot. "Did you have a car or...?" He didn't want her to leave her car here if she had driven, but if she hadn't then that would make things easier. He dug in his pockets for his keys and clicked the unlock button to his red mustang.
Bridget shook her head. She had always drives her brother car when she needed a car or she walked. After school her brother comes to pick her up after he get's out of school. "Nope." She said. Her brother had driven her to school like he always did unless Bridget felt like walking which was actually often but sine she was already running late this morning she had to get a ride. She liked the feel of their hand intertwined and the feel of everything her touched... Her day had gotten a whole lot better.
"Good." He walked her around to the passenger side and opened the door for her to get in. Once she was settled he loped around the front of the car and slid into the drivers seat. He didn't know if they were calling this a date or just a casual outing but he was nervous all the same. It was different when they were alone with no one around but now they would be around a crowd of people.
Bridget made herself comfortable in the fancy car not use to being in anything but her brother's truck. She hoped that they wouldn't see anyone they knew at Starbucks... Bridget knew she said she didn't care what others said but... The wasn't necessarily true. She still wanted to be with Travis even if they had only known each other for two days... She just wasn't sure how others would take it. She wouldn't let it bother her, she couldn't. It was worth it, she remembered that every time he touched her in anyway.
