Hi everyone! I'm Su-ling, I'm new to bizarro fiction but I'm really loving it. I'm a big horror fan, I love horror anything and the weirder the better so bizarro fiction is feeling like a great fir for me.
I have a ton of "to read" books in my list but I'm hoping some you of more experienced in the genre can point out some great new reads for me :)

I've been working with Donald on reading/reviewing Bizarro fiction since early in 2012. I don't read as much of it as I'd like (or should), but in the last year I've had the pleasure of reviewing Dungeons & Drag Queens, Time Pimp, and You Are Sloth!, while Donald has guest reviewed several others.

I literally just got a copy of A Lightbulbs Lament for review (thanks, Grant), but I'm always open to new titles.

Donald and I have been reading together for a while, and decided to take the reigns of this group and really get it going. Hello to all! Almost 2 years ago (yes, this is overdue) I truly found something special in Bizarro and would love to be part of spreading the word. There is no other genre I can think of that is more entertaining or has such a variety within it. Other than being an avid reader, I am a father of two with a full-time career to keep me busy. I also love extreme metal and craft beer. I look forward to connecting and increasing awareness of all the great things bizarro has to offer.

While I don't listen to them as much these days, Warmaster was the first death metal release I bought. They certainly helped open that door to the more extreme for me.

Hello, my name is S L Koch and about a year and a half ago I started writing Bizarro stories after discovering the genre.

Thing was I guess I was always writing Bizarro I just never had a name for it.

I don't want to just plug the books I've written. I want to find out advice about what you guys enjoy in the genre. What you expect out of other readers, and how I can fulfill those desires.

The end of this year I've planned to push hard with releases and release a lot of stuff next year. My goal is to get something published with an Erasherhead Press label on it.

My first book was gunslinging Judge Judy of the post apocalyptic wasteland fighting Juggalos, Furries, and other bizarre celebrities. I did a short story where the Venom symbiote took over Thomas the train, and another short about a company that lets people kill celebrities... for a price. Publisher asked me to write something will less celebrities in it.

My next book is a noir occult detective story about a street drug that turns people into neonazis called Liquid Hitler.

But none of that matters.

What matters is reaching out and finding people who like Bizarro. You guys can help me be better at what I do.

I just started reading bizarro maybe two years ago but really enjoy it. Reading sci-fi all the time got boring so I started branching out. I just started reading The Fetus and Other Stories the other day but my favorite bizarro author to date is Wol-vriey.

I don't find myself on this thread very often because of being on my phone...I have to scroll through 300+ comments to get to the 'newbies,' so for any newcomers, WELCOME!!! If you have and questions about anything, PM me or one of the other mods and we'll do our best to answer your questions. I, personally, don't mind you all putting links to your books here, because let's face it- your book IS part of who you are. Just don't spam us to death once you've already 'introduced' yourself, please (I don't see anyone doing this, so I'm not singling anyone out here). I mostly write horror novels/novellas (The Unhinged, co-author of Jackpot), but I have written a bizarro book entitled Fecal Terror. Apparently, there are quite a few people who don't want to read about a boy who screws up a demon summoning ritual and creates a demonic turd. But there are a small amount of people that do want to read about such a shitty subject. So I wrote this book. My next title will be Tossing Cookies, about, yeah, you guessed it.
