So, I've started The Hunt last night. I'm not sure if it's because the book is so old, but it has a lot of useless action and not very much description. It kinda reads like a comic.

20% in (I think ch 5 just started, it's hard to keep my eyes open when I read this)

Everyone is risking their lives by passing their greatest fears for what? For Jenny. <.< After Fate/Zero where all the people had an important reason why they wanted to play and win (even if that meant their death), this sort of story looks so shallow and useless to me :( . 100% in - yup, I decided to cut the suffering and just finish this already.
(view spoiler)[This book was overall boring. their challenges were ridiculous and the way Summer dies was just plain stupid. For drama's sake and no one really cried after her either. such heartless people. And then at the end they just decide to tell the police the truth?!! Like anyone will actually believe them. They can be charged for murder and hiding the body. But, whatever, logic was not one of this book's strong points. Actually, it had none; strong points I mean. (hide spoiler)]

I won't be reading the other 2 because I hated this one, but I can discuss this with anyone who still wants to give this a try. :)

Oh, you did? For me it was pretty boring all around. The challenges were weak and the love felt kinda forced on both boys. Again, maybe it's because it's a very old book. Like, the mother of YA or something like that XD.

That one was so much better, the game was more interesting, Jenny was less annoying, Tom was less annoying. This book annoyed me a lot less and I'm so happy! The Hunter definitely fades in comparison to this one because it wasn't about their nightmares this time, there were no stupid ones like having a messy room. AND THERE WAS MORE EXPANSION ON HOW THEY FELT AFTER SUMMER DIED. HALLELUJAH. THEY AREN'T THAT HEARTLESS.
