I really was hoping the rogue series would be as good.... but so far not so much. I thought the first was pretty darn bad. It did inprove with the second. Did you think it was going to be more about the "hunting" ? I really hope that Lynsay doesnt start to follow a formula where you can tell in the first 50 pages what is going to happen.
I really didnt like the books so far. I mean that they were good, but they wernt as good as the original ones. Im excited to see what Nicholas will do. I am very intruged by him so hopefully that one will bee good.
No I havent. I really want to but I didnt even know that it was out yet. Homework and crap. But I really do need to, I have every single one of them except that one. When did it come out?
Ok I'll have to get it from my library. But I'll have to have it ordered, cause my library sucks and doesnt carry any I mean ANY of Lynsay Sands books... :(

Me too I Christian Character. I can't wait until she writes his story.

I just hope that if she does them that she doesnt write them like she did the first two Rouge Hunter books or Bitten by Cupid
Yeah those two first Rogue books were not that great for me, but i think it had more to do with how different the way the story was told from the Argeneaus. When i read the 3rd book in the Rogue series i understood the first two a lot better. They are still darker than the Argeneau's though.
if you go to her Website and read her FAQ's this question appears ....Q. Your new books are called the Rogue Hunter series. How are they different from the Argeneau series?
The publishers changed the Series from Argeneau Series to Rogue Series when she wrote Mortimer's story...she states that they went into a panic because he wasn't an Argeneau. But in her eyes it's just another story following the others.

No no no no no, the Rouge Hunter books wernt as good.....Except Nicholas's book! That was one of the best books that I have read.
Courtney, i used to think the same....well kind of still do. But then i did a re-read after reading the 3rd book in the Rogue Hunters. I finally understood the first two books. They are different but if you read all 3 first books together, it all makes more since and the experience is better.
I don't really know I like all her books. Some more than others the only thing I meant by what I said earlier is that she looks at them the same one story continuing another.
I think a lot of readers thought the series took a downward spiral when Mortimer's story came out. I don't why the publisher decided to go with a Rogue Hunter catch phrase. Lynsay went right back to the Argeneau family with follow ups Decker and Nicholas and upcoming Armand. Lynsay has mentioned on her website that there is a whole lot of other Argeneaus we haven't met yet.
On Lynsay's website if you click on her forum page there is a whole section dedicated to the Argeneau Series. There has been speculation on said forum that there are other brothers of Lucian, Martine, Armand, and Victor that haven't been mentioned yet.
I agree I think it is silly to chance the series name or catch phrase as you call it even if Mortimer isn't a Argeneau. There were plenty of Argeneau's and she did go right back to the family after his story. His story opened up a lot of prospects as I see it. Even though his story was not one of my favorites.
