Searching by ASIN (or ISBN) usually is a good bet.

I know, but you have to know them. And usually, I just type an author's name I'm interested in and I think I'll find easily his/her books in the list. But that's not always the case. It wouldn't need a so big change in the way GR lists books if they were in Alphabetical order instead in no order at all or in order of first entered first.

You can sort book alphabetically for an author by going to the "more books by this author" link, which has sort options near the top.
