Devin OK, I'm totally new to Good Reads. I bought a novel from Amazon with this # ASIN: B00HXNZJ08 and that's how I thought I was supposed to be able to find it. The ISBN is 978-0-9912822-0-3 it says inside the book.

Letting Go (The Maryland Shores) -- What am I doing wrong, assuming it's me. ;-) Maybe not. It's a new release so I don't know how up to date this site is on adding books or how books get added but I thought this might be the place to get some help. This is contemporary. Not done with it just yet but will post a favorable review because it's kept my attention in this cold, dreary weather. Reminds you of spring/summer fun!

Thanks if you can solve my problem with the adding of a new title to my shelf or rating sheet. -- D

Becky (fibrobabe) | 1573 comments The best way to find a book in GR is searching by title or author. There were a lot of books with some version of "Letting Go" in the title, but I found it by the author. Letting Go

Welcome to Goodreads and RRRC! Is this the book you're looking for? Letting Go by Lauren Monroe
Sometimes if the book is new or not well known and has a title that could be fairly commonly used as part or all of a title or series, you'll have more luck if you enter the title and author in the search box - that should weed out all the books that are more well-known or popular and give you the one you want. Hope this helps!

Devin Thanks for the tip there on adding author such as you described. There were several Letting Go book titles. This one's subtitle was The Maryland Shores but that doesn't seem to be as needed as the author name. Thanks. I'll remember for later.

Sandra | 4260 comments Devin, just so you know, if you have the asin or isbn numbers, it is much easier to find the books. Just put the numbers in the search box, not the asin or isbn part, and it will take you to the correct book if it is listed on GR.

If the particular book isn't already in the database, you can add it. Everyone can add a book to GR.

Happy reading :)
