Evidence to prove that global warming is real. But it's right in front of them!

Dapplenose Katie wrote: "the world may be going through a climate change, but I don't believe that humans are contributing to it and I don't think it's going to hurt us in a any way."

it's trapping in the heat. it's melting the ice, putting strain on polar bears and raising water levels.

My view is the same as Katie's.

Dapplenose and i thinnk that it will hurt us and that we might not be the najor cause but our pollution certainly isn't helping

Pollution is hurting everything.

message 106: by Dapplenose (new)

Dapplenose and yet you think that global warming doesn't hurt us?

I think it's a natural cycle. I'm not totally sure whether it will majorly hurt us or not.

it has never, ever, ever, been 104 degrees here in washington. even if it was a natural cycle, i don't think it should have started this early.

It was a record breaking 107 up here!! That, my friend, seems weird to me.

Anyways, what if they're thinking the wrong gasses are causing it? Or it's something else? There's also the possibility we still aren't causing it. I could be wrong. So could they.

Ainnie (ainnie_ain12) | 2 comments yeah but i bet tons of research is going on and like who are we to challenge super smart scientists?they do know more than we do

Kasacasa | 7 comments I think a lot of factors are causing global warming. If the ocean temp goes up 1 degree it makes a change in the environment. Ocean ice melts causing higher water. Higher water erodes more of beach taking away natural barriers that prevent bad storms from reaching mainlands and causing more destruction & erosion. Ice melts also cause difficulty for wildlife - altering the food system and the normal hardwired food cycles - example: Polar Bear. Higher oceans also affect the beaches as animals such as turtles & horseshoe crabs lay their eggs in the sand. Higher oceans wash away their eggs, makes it difficult - population decrease causing food shortages with the wild life. Did you know there is a cycle of the moon, horseshoe crabs on east coast and a bird that comes from South America. WE ARE ALL INTERCONNECTED IN THE WEB OF LIFE. WHAT WE DO TO ONE AFFECTS ALL....Chief Dan George. [you can go to PBS.org, and search for horseshoe crab story and the Red Knot Bird. You can watch the full episode on it. And....there's something very Very interesting about the Horsehoe Crab and their blood. I'll let you check it out.:]
