The Maze Runner will be released in theaters on September 19, 2014. What are your thoughts on the cast, director, budget..etc. And, how do you think the movie will be?

I really like the cast (Dylan and Kaya!) and my expectations are very high because they decided to release movie later than it was planned.. I can`t wait to see the part when Thomas go to help in the maze...
I agree, the only thing that I didn't like was how they casted Will Poulter as Gally. I did not picture Gally to look like that at all! .-. On another matter, when do you think they'll release a trailer? I'm guessing February, since movies tend to release a teaser 7 months before the movie is released in theaters, and a theatrical 1-2 months before it comes out.
To be honest I didn`t pictured Gally like that, but now I can see him only as Poulter.. :) About trailer... I hope to be out soon, I really hope in February cuz I can`t wait any more!!
For some reason I couldn´t picture Gally... don´t know why. But it was kind of easier to picture the characters once they chose the cast. Expecting the movie!
I'm just in love with Dylan O'Brien. I have high expectations. In an interview Kaya says that her character isn't 'all about the romance' so it'll be interesting to see how they play out the dynamics between Thomas and Teresa.
There will be no telepathic conversations... that's going to be interesting! And yeah, I just can`t imagine anyone to be more suitable for the role of Thomas than Dylan. Hope there will be some fun scenes. Hej, how did you pictured those lizard-like beasts?
The Beetle Blades? If so, I pictured them to look like mechanical beetles with WICKED written on their back. By the way, their turning "W-I-C-K-E-D" into "W-C-K-D"! I find it pointless, your thoughts? Now you can't even pronounce it! XD
No I meant the other ones... O hell, i forgot what they`re called :( Why W-C-K-D? It`s weird! Plus-I imagined the maze a little bit smaller. On the pictures the walls are HUGE!

I think the movie was suck because they started filming 13th of May 2013 amd ended in 12th July 2013. A movie in 3 months? I think it will suck.
I personally have my reservations, but I will still be front row at the first showing. The main reason I think this is is because the grievers were the most difficult things to picture EVER. I've seen people's drawings which still didn't quite make sense but to make them actually move and look the least bit realistic. Also, without the whole mind-reading thing it'd be hard to show the relationship between Thomas and Theresa. However, I am hoping that if I had bad expectations before I go in, I can then be pleasantly surprised.
I am really looking forward to the movie because I loved the book and I really want to see the director's take on the story. The cast seems pretty good too and I really want to see Dylan and Kaya as Thomas and Teresa, I think they were a really good choice. I agree when you said the Grievers were the most dificult thing to picture and I really want to know how they're going to show them on the movie. Soo yes I'm really excited, I can't wait for the trailer! *-*

If my logical guess is correct, they should have a teaser trailer by February! Gosh, the grievers...now they were a hard thing to picture, but James Dashner said himself that the grievers looked even better than he imagined. What I'm worried about, is whether or not they'll look all CG'ish, ya know? By the way, The Maze Runner lost the MTV Movie Brawl :(
I was voting like crazy but no.. :( it was like 17% for TMR when I checked one hour before end...

It was so weird, cause it was like %70 TMR one day then %25 the next! I was like "NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!" And, ya, I'm SUPER excited for the movie!

That is what I thought too. I can see them doing that. Okay, I'm predicting the trailer will come out February 14th. Since it was the original release date and its 7 months before the film, so it is my logical guess ;)
I love the cast, I trust the director. I have faith in this movie.

This time I wouldn't mind the movie diverging from the original. While I love the maze runner, I just didn't like the series as a whole (too many lose ends imho). But yeah, Dylan O'Brien. SO LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING HIM ACT. He's wonderful!
I will love the movie, I love Dylan O'Brien, and I think is the perfect boy to play Thomas, and I'd like to see how they play the "Penitentes"
I'm really excited about it, I just hope it doesn't turn out like Avatar: TLA. Also, the actors are perfect. I always imagined them to look like that. But for some reason, I always imagined Gally with burgundy hair..

And I'm looking forward to seeing my favourite character, Gally. I thought he was just hilarious and he reminds me so much of my older brother - angry, a bully and with a big nose. I pictured my brother as him, and I hope Will does a good job :D

I actually saw this in the movie theater when i went to see VA
That's ISN'T a real trailer. We haven't got a trailer yet, the director hasn't released it and the people in that trailer, aren't the real cast. Why they would show that in a cinema is beyond me.
