Yeah, once I was in Italy, and I went to this gelateria, and I had some gelato (without nuts), and I broke out. Turns out they made the hazelnut gelato in the same machine as the chocolate. Shame, it was so creamy!

I guess I imagined something out of the movie The Jane Austen's book club, having "assignments" and "homework". Am I right?
Anyway, not really a fan of social networks, but being mostly socially isolated these days decided to give it a try.
Though my lists aren't as impressive, I have read a number of books, mostly in my native language. Out of sheer laziness to find and click Read is the reason my shelves seem empty.
Last year I discovered e-books. Don't let this surprise you. Being in a third world country does have few disadvantages. But since I discovered and bought my first e-reader, I'm happy to say it goes wherever I go. I recently relocated to Beijing.
Like the most of you, if the book is good I can't leave it.
Maybe this is weird, but I don't have anything favorite.
I think I couldn't exist without music, dance, literature, movies, TV shows, and some other things. So everyday I'm thankful to the Mankind for creating these extraordinary forms of art.

My husband is also. All types of Penicillin, aspirin, and a couple of other things I can't remember at the moment...

I'm only allergic to one type of medicine: Clindamycim, an antibiotic often used for dental infections. I found out I was allergic when I took it last September. That sucked.

I'm Allergic to ALL Penicillin Drugs myself. There was a Nurse 1 time that made me a Guinea Pig with a "NEW" Penicillin Drug that had come out on the Market, it was at least 10 years ago or maybe more, but anyway she tried her best to tell me or convince me that "only" 10% of people will be Allergic to a "NEW" Drug. I told her that I'm one of those 10% people and so I took the Drug and about 5 minutes later my whole body was covered with little itchy red bumps. I called her that day and told her that I need a Drug without Pennicillin in it.
My Family Doctor has on File on hand that I'm Allergic to ALL Penicllin Drugs and I WILL NOT take ANY Penicillin Drugs at all from now on.

You have my deepest sympathy on those migraines. I'm lucky and only get 2 or 3 a year, but they do suck hard. :( Praying for healing for you.

6 cats? Wow. I'm allergic or we'd have a couple. We do have 2 dogs.

I also love thunderstorms. Even when my 50 lbs Australian Shepard is trying to climb into my lap with every clap of thunder.

Me too! I almost never watch TV. It's often on for back ground noise, but only my husband watches it really. (I do make exceptions for Castle, Dancing with the Stars, and Word Girl. Yes, Word Girl is aimed at children; I don't care, I love it!)

It's sooo hard, japanese and learning it. Wow. What always gets me these days is the kanji differences.
And totally go for a cruise! They run pretty cheap during hurricane season. Go Royal Caribbean, or Carnival. They are both fun and have SOOO much to do. Not to mention the island fun.
My cats are the same way with thunderstorms, *insert thunder here* well there goes my cat, he's under the bed again. lol
I hope the migraines stay away for you. I wouldn't wish this kind of pain on anyone. Thank you for the well wishes.
Darn it would be the math for someone to dislike me, it just always comes down to the math.... Good luck with the becoming a math teacher tho. ~_^v

I am very good at music and I play 6 instruments: Violin, snare drum, tenor drum, piano, ukulele and guitar. I just got an A in my music exam (I didn't take the class I did all of the work at home as extra) and I am currently working on Grade 7 violin.
