A New Darkness
question
What would you like to see in the new series?

I'd like it to be from Tom's perspective again. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of villains the Kobalos make. They were interesting in Slither's Tale and it'll be cool to see that book expanded upon.

I would like to see Alice and Tom become friends again, as them being torn apart ripped my heart out. Also, I would like to see how Tom copes with being the spook himself, without Gregory watching over.
I'd like to see Tom and Alice get back together because I found their departure really anti climactic. I'd also like to see how Tom deals with being the spook and having to teach jenny.
* NOTE: SPOILER ALERT! *
I agree with Sam, Austin & Mark - the story definitely works better told from Tom's POV (exception: I Am Grimalkin). And, I really would like to see Tom & Alice as allies again. Having them at odds with each other just feels wrong - and having her play a villious role now is kind of like having your cake & eating it too. Mam predicted Alice could go eitger way: a strong ally of the Light, or the most powerful malevolent witch the world has ever seen. She needs to pick one and stay with it. Her defection makes no sense.
Although a seventh daughter of a seventh daughter is kind of exciting - I just hope she isn't meant to replace Alice's role. Plus, depending on this young lady's age, the implications of she & Tom living alone together (especially without the Spook as a chaperone) could be interpreted as kind of improper, don't you think? I guess we will have to just wait and see the details.

I would like to see Mab return and take the role of witch ally. After all she stood by Tom until the very end and that is more than could be said for Alice.
