Question about becoming a Librarian

Well I read what they said about the qualifications to become a librarian, and I quote -- In order to become a librarian on Goodreads you must have at least 50 books in your profile, then just apply. --

Does that mean 50 books you've read? Or that you've published 50 books? Reviewed 50 books? Added 50 books to your books list?

Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks.

It means 50 shelved books (added to your book list). That does NOT guarantee acceptance into the librarian program.

They accept as needed and based on what you put in your request and some magical Goodreads formula. If accepted it doesn't happen immediately and the time varies.
