Me? Twice I met the big man.
1) Was named as a culprit in the infamous boot stealing/throwing incident of 1987...turns out it was a case of mistaken identity. The victim had his boots stolen and then thrown at him one day by some children I associated with. I was pulled into the office to face the principal - where the victim promptly said, 'who is that?'.
2) My one truly deserved visit to the principal's office was for 'class disruption'...as in I talked too much in class and drove my teacher to seek outside assistance.

Never! In grade school I would probably have died it I'd been in that much trouble. In high school, I probably would have said something sarcastic relating to his intelligence, competence, and looks, and gotten into worse trouble, so it's just as well that I never did anything a teacher couldn't deal with.God, I must have been an annoying teen. Too smart and too aware of it, and WAY too convinced I was always right.
Oh, right. Just like all the teens. Only I really was that much smarter than many of the teachers :)
A couple times in grade school for random acts of juvenile stupidity. Kicking a lunchbox that I found on the playground. Getting into a small scale (3 people) food fight.
Frequently as I had a tendency to stand up to the school bullies using the only language they could understand...
Actually, once when I was about 9 or 10, the principal called into his office just to 'chat'?
Not sure exactly why and thinking back it was kind of awkward. He showed me a magic card trick, and then the secrect behind it, then he asked me if everything was ok at home? If I was having any problems?
I said, it was fine and no problems.
Then I left.
Isn't that weird?

That is weird. Maybe something about your behavior or something had suggested you were troubled? But it seems unlikely anyone would find out that way. Children just don't go telling adults stuff like that. Or maybe he was trying to "get to know" all his students. Or sizing up cute little boys. . Ugh.

Twice, once in grade school and once in high school. Don't remember exactly why in grade school. In high school I asked if I could work in the photography dark room during study hall. Was told no by the principle. Went down and developed my film anyway...got caught in the hall by the principle on my way back. Should have waited at the dark room until the bell.
