If the book you're reading doesn't fit the square you're on, you can save it. So read the book, write your review, but don't post it on the review thread until it fits the square you're on. So for physicians, wait until you're on a green square to post the review in the reviews thread. You can save up as many books as you want this way ☺

Our guided buddy read for February These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1) by Amie Kaufman is a wild card - this book can be used for any coloured square, and can count for between 1-5 moves - you decide how far this book will move you.

Yes, everyone starts on the yellow block. :)
When you finish and review your book, you post your review in the review thread here:
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

The posting format is on that thread. :)

Abi (abi_gr) | 27659 comments Heather wrote: "Could I use Vampire Academy for the first square?"

The first square is yellow - So that means you have to read a book with a yellow cover, or a book submitted for the cover hunt challenge. (Or an item that was used in it)
I've just gone through all the covers for Vampire academy, and there's none that qualify, sorry!

message 349: by Sarah Elizabeth (last edited Feb 01, 2014 01:09PM) (new)

No, sorry. Books have to be started on February 1st, either where you are or after 12.00 PST. We have to try and make it fair for everyone and it makes it really difficult for me to make sure it's fair if people are starting at different times.

message 350: by [deleted user] (new)

This might have been asked already but..say I read a book now like Mind Games (Mind Games, #1) by Kiersten White which does not fit the first box. Instead I'm reading Shattered Souls (Souls, #1) by Mary Lindsey . Can I count Mind games later on when it does work?

I hope that makes sense. And sorry if this was already asked.
