"But nothing about this place made any sense. Except for one thing. He was supposed to be a Runner. Why did he feel that so strongly? And even now, after seeing what lived in the maze?" The Maze Runner by James Dashner is about a young boy who gets locked up in a society made in a maze to be experimented with another group of people, strange things never seen before, and absolutely no knowledge of his identity. I personally thought that this was an amazing novel with lots of suspense and unusual things that would make you want to read more and more. The Maze runner is also part of a series that also includes the books The Scorch Trials, The Death Cure, and The Kill Order. I recommend this book to boys and girls of the ages 12 and up. Kirkus Reviews wrote, "Hard to put down, this is clearly just a first installment, and it will leave readers dying to find out what comes next."
