I don't understand why it's called Rebel Spring but I wonder if it's related to the Rebels but at some point through out the whole story it doesn't seem like it, I'm totally confused. And also Spring why Spring? Huh? The first book made sense, "Falling Kingdoms."
If you look at it through the seasons (summer, autumn, winter and spring) spring is basically like the birth of new life after the deadness of winter. So my interpretation would be that the second book is based on the birth of the rebels. But then again, that's only my interpretation. If you ask other people they would say something completely different. The only person that really knows the answer is the author
i think it to stand for a place in time and that things are changing and going to change
I think Morgan Rhodes named Rebel Spring "Rebel Spring" because the rebels have a new addition and Spring because spring is the season to start new things and that's what Jonas it trying to do.
Maybe....
Maybe....
I like to say the book's called Rebel Spring for the same reason the first book was called Falling Kingdoms. Because kingdoms fell. Ergo, because rebels spring. Or because it's Spring, and there are rebels.
I mean, the titles aren't exactly what I'd call ambiguous. Not that they have to be. I just found it a little disappointing...which is symbolic of my initial reaction to Rebel Spring... I think I might be over-analyzing things again...

Your interpretation makes sense. My guess is that it looked marketable (and was an awesome fantasy name). :D
