Once Upon A Time இ Кἆяἆ

Bones nodded "Just give it time." he said. "After you, I don't know, come to terms with their death maybe you'll be able to remember what happened" he said, not really sure what to say. He wasn't every good at comforting people.

"It's been along time. When I was little I used to dream about them a lot. Then the dreams stopped when I was around ten." She blocked everything about them out because it hurt too much. "I need to know what happen." She said these words again because she was scared, nervous, and confused.

"Maybe you should just not block it out anymore. Since you're blocking it your probably makes it worse." Bones said. "Just let the memory back in, but only do it if you're sure you want to know. The truth could be worse then whatever you've seen so far" he said, though he really wanted her to remember, needed her to remember.

That simple don't block it out. She nodded."Ok." She took a deep breath. She laid back down."Please don't go." Then she closed her eyes. For the second time that night she drifted back in a deep sleep.

Bones nodded "I won't go anywhere" he said, and moved back a bit just to give her some space. He held onto her hand and just watched her sleep.

She told herself to stay clam. Her parents told her stay here. Where ever here was. She started crying and begging them not to go. They left. She should of stayed back, but she didn't. She grabbed a blanket and a teddy bear and went out looking for her parents. Fire and blood filled her eyesight. She saw a dark witch come out of no where. Two hunters jumped in her way. They blocked her attack. She ran she caught a glimpse of a little boy from behind the tree. She couldn't find her parents no where. Where were they? She kept calling out for them. She started screaming for them. She opened her eyes. Tears were coming down them. "Bones." She couldn't make out any words she was crying so hard.

Bones heard some form of his names and moved closer to her "I'm right here" he said as he thumb rubbed small circles on the hand he was holding. "What's you see?" he asked softly.

His voice was so calming. "My parents left me someplace and they told me to stay and I didn't. So I waited until they were gone. I grabbed my blanket and teddy bear and followed them. I saw fire and blood. I was walking when a dark witch came charging at me. These two hunters jumped in front of me. I ran. Because I was taught to fear both. I caught a glimpse of a little boy. I couldn't find my parents at all. I looked for them but I couldn't find them." She was crying less. They were holding hands. Which made her clam down.

Bones nodded slightly, "Then what happened?" he asked, his voice just as soft as before. He had moved a little closer and was still gently rubbing his thumb across the back of her hand.

"Do you know why they killed them?" Hunters are giving cases that have more than one witch to them. Most of the time there was a reason.
"I don't know. I kept screaming for them and they never came." They were so close. She was thankful that he was here. Her heartbeat was beating faster. She needed to know what happen that night.

Anya shook her head "No,I don't. They were very peaceful witches, a lot of the people in are community called them hippies. They were practically tree huggers" she said with a small smile. "Though later I heard it was because some other witches who had a beef with my parents or something planted some kind of evidence for something that my parents were dark witches or something like that. I never really got the details." she said and, for the first time since she started talking about her parents, looked up at Zack.
"That's fine for now, you waited this long to figure out what you have. You can wait a little bit longer to find out the rest" Bones said reasonably.

"Your right." What did happen to her parents? She was afraid to fall back to sleep. "Can you please stay?" She didn't want to dream about that haunting night anymore. She knew she would. Bones made good company with her. She thought about his hand on her hand. It felt almost calming. She was glad it was night because she was sure her face was red. She wonder if normal people get this way.For a first time in long time her life seemed normal.

Bones smiled down at her, "Yeah, I can stay" he said and stayed were he was, still holding her hand. Maybe Zack was right he thought to himself, maybe he was allowing himself to get to close to Calla. Would he be able to kill her when the time was right. He really wasn't sure anymore.

" Thank you." She was calming down. She wanted to lay back down, but she didn't want lose Bones hand to sleep. She fluttered her eyes. They felt so heavy. She let out a yawn. She must of laid down because she was fast asleep. She only thought about a good things. She wouldn't dream about that haunting night again.

Bones watched her slowly fall asleep and lay back down. When she was fast asleep he still sat next to her holding her hand. HE really wasn't that tired so he didn't feel the need to lay down and go to sleep yet.

She was fast asleep. She could still feel Bones hand on hers. She hoped he wouldn't let go. She wished things could be different. So Bones and her could have a future together. If he wanted one. One of the questions she forgot to ask him was how to tell if someone likes you. That would come in handy. He must like her to some extent he is holding her hand.

Bones looked down at her and sat there holding her hand whole she sleep for a little bit longer. After a few minutes he let her hand go and back away a little. He stood up and began walking around the camp site, though he stayed away from the fire and Anya and Zack.

Calla didn't realize his hand left hers. She was so happy. She never been this happy since her parents death. She wish they could just see her as a girl and not a witch. She will always be a witch to the hunters. Not someone who wants a life.

Bones continued to walk around. He was trying to clear his head, set his mind straight. He still wasn't sure if he'd be able to finish the job. Maybe they could just switch girls then. He'd kill Anya and Zack could have Calla. Yeah, that's what they'd do. He told him self with a small nod It would probably be soon to because Calla is starting to remember what happened. The sooner the better, he thought.

Calla awoke. Since she was used to waking of every hour. She guessed it was hard to break habits. She decide to sit back and sang. She hasn't done it for years. She notice that Bones was gone. She thought through her songs that she knew. The recent one she memorize was Give Your Heart A Break by Demi Lovato. She understood the words and the meaning of the song now. Maybe Bones was afraid to let her in. Then again he is hunter. She felt sad. She will never have her happy ending.

Bones continued to walk around, he had finally clear his head and gotten back to point. He was okay with doing what he had to do again. So he made his way back over to Calla. As he got closer he heard her singing, and he smiled. He walked up behind her and just listened.

She missed music. She only listen to music when they went to get supplies. She did her best to memorize each song she heard. She heard of IPods that can hold music. She wished she could have on or even a radio. After she was done. She looked up at the sky.

"You're good" Bones said and walked up to her. He sat down next to her and smiled over at her.

"Thank you." Her faced was beat red. "Did you hear me and how long have you been there?" She never sang in front of people except her parents. She wouldn't of mind if it was anybody else. She liked Bones and this made her nervous that she would mess up.

"I heard you and I haven't been there very long" Bones said with a smile. His mind and resolve was clouding again.

"So how can you tell if someone likes you?" Another question. She hope it wasn't to obvious. Her heart beat really every time she was near him. She couldn't think straight near him.

"Same thing, they smile around you all the time. Laugh at your jokes even when there not all that funny" Bones said. "You know you ask a lot of questions" he said with a smile.

"I'm just being curious." Maybe Bones liked her. It's just a crush. She only knew him for day. He did smile around her a lot. "Your different from the other hunters. Most of them we encounter are blood thirsty and would kill large amount of witches at once." She smiled. A good different.

Bones nodded "I'm really not that different" he said honestly. "I just have better people skills then Zack does" he said.

"You may not think your different, but I do." She let smile. Was this flirting? She didn't really know. She never liked someone before. Except book characters. That really doesn't count.

"Okay, but it's not true" Bones said, and smiled small. He couldn't believe she really thought he was different. Did she really trust him already, or did she just think he was different, and that's it.

"No your different." She smiled."I know when this all over you will kills us. But at least I won't die at the hands of the dark witches." She trusted him. But why?

"Why are the dark witches after you?" Bones asked, ignoring her other comments.

"I don't know. Some people think there trying to kill me because of who my parents were. Some think it is because I control two elements instead of one. All I know is I pose a threat to them." She did anyone did. But why her?

"What two elements do you control" Bones asked.

"I control water and fire. Two of the complete opposite. It is rare. Sometimes I think the dark witches want to convert me because I would be a pretty powerful dark witch." She was afraid of this. If it ever had happen she would become a killer. She didn't want to be a killer. "I also know how to use a sword." She only used it for emergencies.

Bones nodded slightly, "That's pretty cool" he said with a small smile. "That you can control those two elements and use a sword I mean. The other part is just horrible" he said.

"Thanks. Sometimes people give things I want because of what I can do. People get mad because of that." She was silent for a few minutes."Yeah I wish I would know because I would be able to give up my powers if they wanted me for that." She didn't want to, but if she had to she would.

"Would you be able to do that? How?" Bones asked curiously.

"Yeah I would give the elements back to the where they come from. If I needed to. But that would just leave me with magic wish would eventually disappear." She looked up at Bones."I heard others say it hurts some turn to the dark side to get power they once had." She frowned at the thought.

Bones nodded "So, it's really not an option then. Because you could become dark anyway" he said.

"It is an option. Because I don't rely on powers like most witches do. But eventually I guess you miss it. I believe it I had someone who likes me a lot and a great friend like Anya then yeah I wouldn't go evil. " She wouldn't give up. There had to be a way for them to be together. She didn't even know that Bones liked her.

"I guess that true" Bones said, "So uh... what's Anya like. Is she pretty much like you, doesn't rely on her powers?" he asked just curious.

"Yeah she is pretty much like me." She didn't know what to say."Bones do you?" She couldn't finish the question because she was afraid of the answer.

"Do I what?" Bones asked.

"Never mind it is not important." It really was important , but it was too soon. If she asked maybe it would spare her heart.

Bones shrugged "Okay" he said, though he wanted to to know what she was going to ask.

"So how much is a IPod?" She could get music on it if she wanted one. She hope it wasn't to much.
"Bones I don't remember what happened after the die or how they die. The only thing is the same is hunters getting killed. " She was crying harder. "I need to know what happen. I don't remember there ever being a funeral or bodies." Maybe she couldn't handle the lost of her parents.
