He was shaking."Princess wake up." He didn't see or hear her."Wake up. I'm sorry." He whispered in between sobs.She realized he wasn't falling for it."James I don't like you."
Sam looked over at him. She reached out with a shaking hand and grabbed his. "Danny..." She whispered. James raised a brow at her. "Oh?"
He looked up."Princess." He exclaimed. He hugged her tightly."Yeah I never did like you from the first day we met" she said trying to keep a straight face.
Sam smiled weakly. "Yes." She whispered. She was too weak to hug him back, so she just smiled and drank in the warmth he provided.Calla was a bad liar, but James decided to play along. "Oh really? Then you're very good at faking being in love with me. Because that much was obvious from the start."
He wouldn't let go. He wouldn't lose her. He was still trembling .She pouted. Knowing he had won. She turned around not paying attention to him. "No fair you weren't suppose to know what I was going to say."
Sam shifted a bit. "Are you ok now?" She whispered.James chuckled. He wrapped his arms around her waist and tugged her backwards onto his lap.
"Yeah." He said softly still holding her.She giggled. She looked up on him. "Hi." She said with a smile.
Sam nodded, "Good." She smiled a little blinking her eyes sleepily. She was still very weak."Hi." He whispered in her ear. "How are you?"
"I love you." He sent shivers down her spine. She smiled. "I'm good." She giggled again.
"I love you too Danny." She whispered, shivering slightly. Suddenly she was cold. James kissed her neck gently, "That's good." He whispered again.
"I love you more." Picking her up and taking her to their bedroom. He covered them in blankets.She felt her face turn hot. The kiss of his lips on her neck felt good. She had waves of shivers down her spine.
"I love you most." Sam closed her eyes for a moment, and then opened them again. "So you have forgiven me then, for being scare of you?"James kissed her again, a little higher up on her neck, and then on her ear. "You smell nice." He whispered, smiling a little.
"I love you more than most." He shook his head no. "I can't stay mad at you. I try so hard to but your to lovelable to stay mad at. She smiled and blushed a deep red."thank you." She whispered. She had another wave of shivers were sent down her back.
Sam smiled, "Lucky me." She looked up at him. "You'll be ok then?"James felt her shiver this time, and his smile grew wider, "Why are you shivering?"
"Yeah I will Princess." He smiled at her."You know why. Is this payback for me teasing you?" She asked trying to give him and evil glare. She batted her blue eyes. The evil glare didn't work because she was smiling.
Sam nodded, closing her eyes slowly. "Ok." She whispered. "I'm sorry for getting scared of you."James kissed her hair, "Payback? Do you not like what I'm doing?" He kissed her neck again. "Because if you don't I can stop."
"No need to be sorry." He whispered."What do you think the answer is?" She grinned at him. Don't stop She smiled up at him.
Sam nodded slowly. "Are you sure? Because I seemed to have hurt you by being scared."Ok. I won't. He kissed her again, allowing his hands to travel slowly to her stomach and rest there.
"You did but I'm ok now." He said with a smile. She smiled and she had more shivers. She let a moan come out. She was happy to have him.Your getting the hang of teasingShe mocked him.
Sam nodded. "Ok. I am really sorry Danny. I was just so scared. You don't what something like that feels like...."Was that a compliment? He asked, reaching up to brush her bangs off of her face.
"I know." He whispered.Yes She smiled up at him.
Sam leaned against him, sighing softly. This was one of those moments where silence communicated louder than words. So Sam didn't break it, she just sat there with Danny. James grinned, leaning back slowly with her. I'm glad.
Danny was happy.Calla smiled at him. She wanted to say something but nothing came out.
Sam leaned against his shoulder, breathing slowly. She wanted to stay like that forever. Safe, happy, and with Danny. James lay down slowly with her, shifting a bit so she was beside him. He wrapped his top around around her shoulder and leaned against her, smiling into her hair. I love you
He wouldn't let how of her no matter what.She smiled. She snuggled closer to him. I love you too she yawned. Her eyes felt baggy.
Sam slowly closed her eyes, her exhaustion over taking her. She yawned and curled up in his arms. James smiled, shifting a bit on the pillow. G'night
He laid down still holding her.She didn't say anything as she fell asleep.
Sam fell asleep, too tired to even notice that Danny was moving around. James yawned and slowly closed his eyes.
Danny soon fell asleep Calla was tired. She loved sleeping in James' arms.
Sam didn't even wake up as sunlight streamed though the windows the next morning.James woke up slowly, shifting. "Morning." He whispered.
Danny opened his eyes.Calla smiled."good morning."
Sam was still sleeping."How are you today?"
"Good morning." He whispered to her."I'm good how about you." She whispered.
Sam opened her eyes slowly, "Morning." She smiled.James nodded, "Pretty good. Hungry for breakfast though. And this time... no coffee." He smiled.
"How are you." He whispered"Yes." She said.
"Tired and hungry, but pretty good. I have you." She whispered, smiling gently.James stood up slowly, offering her a hand. "Shall we go?"
"Yes I'm ok.""Ok." She smiled.
Sam grinned. "So I guess I can't have coffee any more... huh?"James pulled her up and lead her to the kitchen. "What would you like?"
"No." He whispered."Waffles question how come the Vanilla Capachino didn't make me hyper?"
Sam smiled, "Can have hot chocolate still?""You only had one of them." James pointed out. "You weren't drinking them as fast as you could." He chuckled a bit.
"No baby. I don't know maybe." He said."Ok would I be able to have one every once in a while." She asked and batted her eyes at him.
Sam nodded and smiled,"Ok.""Lets give it a couple of weeks, and then we'll see, ok? No more for right now. I'm still recovering from yesterday. You know you hit me with fireballs three times, right?"
He smiled back at her."Ok." She sighed and shook her head no."I didn't know what I was doing all I know is that I needed more. I felt my body buzzing with magic." She whispered. "I didn't mean I would never hurt you."
"You hungry?"James arrived at the kitchen and started to make them breakfast. "I know you didn't mean to. But lets try to avoid the coffee for now." He smiled. "What would you like to eat?"
He nodded his head."Waffles please." She said with a smile. "Ok no coffee for now."
Sam nodded getting out of bed. "Well come on then. I'm sure the others are already making something." She smiled.James smiled and nodded, getting right to work on making breakfast.
He smiled and grabbed her hand. See you passed the two tests now for the third one. What would you do to stop his death? Would you become a siren?Callas face paled. She gulped.
You wouldn't kill him.
I would and I will. So what is it going to be? Tears came to her face. She knew her choice."James I have to leave to protect you. The voice says if I don't leave and become a siren she will kill you." Calla stammered.
Sam walked with him to the kitchen. She saw Calla crying. "What's wrong?"James shook his head, "The siren can't kill me. I'll put barriers around myself. Please don't go Calla."
Danny looked confused at the situation.You don't believe me. Remember what you did to Sam's mom this is how if looks on James. The voice used her mind to grab James' heart and squeeze it. Calla was scared.
James grinned, leaning back. He was enjoying this.
